*Krell Solusar, aspiring Jedi Padawan, stepped hesitantly into the large, cavernous room. Shedding his cloak and drawing his lightsaber. He activated a small, cylindrical object. It hovered roughly a meter above the ground, dancing in lazy arcs around the room. Krell activated the lightsaber, freeing a silver-white blade of harnessed energy with a sharp whine. Upon the ignition of his Jedi-blade, the semi-intelligent device halted, its movements now rigid and precise. The drone of the lightsaber washed out the intermittent releases of air from the device; unexpectedly - although not for the Jedi Padawan, due to his past nights staying awake only to sense such premeditated acts - spat out a low-powered dart of energy. The Padawan hacked at the energy beam, failing miserably. Again and again his attempts at defense proved futile. He deactivated the lightsaber in aggrevation, turning away, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow. He closed his eyes in submission, pressing his forehead to the cold stone wall. In a blur, the Jedi Padawan whirled around, lightsaber screaming to life - with a sharp whine, a blue ribbon of energy retreated from his Jedi weapon, fizzling into a wall. All the while, the Jedi Padawan had not taken care to open his eyes. Hesitantly he tried again; again, Krell deflected the incoming projectile. After a short time, the Jedi Padawan slipped into what could almost be defined as a trance. Leaping, twisting, flipping, and thrusting, Solusar warded off everything the device spat at him. After a brief meditation, he set off to resume his training; only now, the number of devices increasing five-fold. The Padawan Learner was more than up to the challenge.

Krell Solusar, student to Jace Darklighter, spent his every waking moment hardening himself for the Jedi path. Whether ascertaining the meaning of proverbs, the code, or various lectures, to training vigorously in his quarters, his training did not cease. After a time his body was as solid as stone; his movements as fluid as water. Daily - and occasionally nightly, exercising himself in not only a physical aspect, but warding off fatigue by means of replineshing his strength through the Force - trainings solidified his skill in the art of the lightsaber. Reading and re-reading articles of ancient Jedi teachings were not an uncommon practice within the confines of the Jedi Apprentice's chambers. When not training with his Master, the Padawan growing steadily in the ways of the light. He was becoming a true Jedi.

Working secretly within his quarters at all hours of the night, Krell Solusar was forging the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Having reviewed literature from the Jedi library on the construction of a lightsaber many times, he felt he was ready; with or without his Master's consent. In all honesty, he felt Master Darklighter would approve. He was, however, unsure.

It took the Padawan Leaner some time to gather the materials vital to the construction of such a pristine weapon. After accumulating the components, he set to work. Taking roughly one month, he had completed the weapon of which was to assure initation into the Jedi Order.

Meditating a considerable length of time, lightsaber placed before him, he stood, Jedi blade in-hand. Breathing evenly, he thumbed the weapon on... given birth from its metallic sanctuary, a brilliant green-white blade bloomed. Solusar closed his eyes, a smile touching his lips.
