::Verse sat with his eyes closed. He had hoped he would not have to do this. It was time for truth. The raw and honest truth. This would break her, or make her stronger. Verse did not want to dwell on which he thought would happen. He sat with his sabers out. He would be using them. He woudl be using them alot. Verse had many connections. He knew alot that happened. Few things excaped his knowledge for long. It was time Xazor saw this. Spare the rod and spoil the child. The rod had be spared for too long.::

Right beside Verse stood Satine, his normal attire of a sleeveless black shirt, black baggy pants, and a sleeveless black trenchcoat on, his sabres on his weapons belt underneath the coat. For once, he did not look happy, and there was great cause for that. On his back he wore his sword, mainly for intimidation, but also to be used if things get too out of hand. He hoped it didn't come to that...

Xazor walked into the academy as she always did every morning. She was dressed in her normal Jedi robes and wore a bright smile on her face. Today, though, something was different. Instead of her arriving alone, she was met by the eyes of her Master and brother...........she became a little nervous as she looked at them. They wore expressions that were unlike their usualy happy nature......and she wondered what was going on. She approached both of them and bowed slightly.

Greetings........what's the occassion?

She asked, a nervous quiver in her voice. A knot developed in the pit of her stomach when she came to realize that they were there about her......... Did he see what I had done? Look, you failed him again. Way to go Xazor, your secrets are out....... Thoughts played with her mind and she shook them out as she looked into their eyes for something..........anything.........but there was no comfort.......nothing........

:: Verse wore a face of stone.::

"You will not speak unless I or Satine ask you too! We will end this here and now."

::Verse did not anger. He did not seem saddened. He was very very disappointed.::

"A Jedi NEVER, and I reapeat NEVER, fights with anger. A Jedi NEVER lets anger control him or her. A Jedi NEVER trys to bring pain on others. A Jedi only speaks the truth. It is time I spoke the truth. You are not a Jedi! Why is this? You act like a Sith. You must think I am stupid. That is a mistake. Do you wish to be Sith? You must. Many Masters would have said 'To the Nine-Hells with you'. As it is, I have many down my throat because of this matter. It is time you learned right now. We of the greater Jedi Order will not put up with it. Do you ahve anything to say to this Xazor?"

::Verse looks at Satine.::

"Anything you wish to add?"

Fear gripped Xazor's heart at her Masters words. She immediatly straightened the way she was standing and placed her hands behind her back as she looked at the ground in complete shame.

Master, you are right. I do not act like a Jedi......my heart is full of anger and rage. I try to stop it, but it is a difficult thing.......

She spoke very softly and then stopped and glanced up at Verse. She met his cold eyes and hers fell to the ground once again. She remained quiet, feeling it was not her place to speak anymore.

"Do not turn you head or eyes from me! You will look at who ever is talking to you! You will look into my eyes unless I tell you to do otherwise."

::Verse stood up and faced Xazor.::

"You will not use the anger to fight. I do not care how pissed you get. I do not care what someone calls you, me, or anyone else. You will not let it control you! I for one am ashamed. That is right I am ashamed of you. I have a question I want you to answer. Are you of the Dark, or of the Light?"

Xazor fearfully looked right into the eyes of her Master. Her body was shaking as he questioned her.

Master, I am that of the light.......though I act with darkness..........frequently.

She admitted as she stared into his eyes. She could tell that he was hurt and ashamed.....and it was all her fault.

I am so sorry......

She relayed to him through the Force. She wished that this was all a dream......but it was not. It had all been brought on by her.

They are weakness! If you wish to be a Jedi you must give up the Darkness in you past! A Jedi never goes on the offensive! We are defenders! When you assulted Yurza, you went head first into the Darkside! You bathed in it. You said to Phantom Magus I would be mad. You made the comment you were not of the Light as he thought! You are one of two things. You are a Jedi, or you are not! Untill you straightin' up you will never be one! I for one will not let them promote you! You will start acting like a Jedi now, or leave my sight. What will it be?"

Xazor kept looking into his eyes as his words pierced her very soul. Everything he said was true.......he knew everything she had done. She wished to look at the ground.....but she knew she couldn't. Instead, she kept looking into his eyes and knelt before him.

Master.......I wish to stay at the Order and train under you. I shall obey you and start acting like a Jedi. I shall not become angry and use my past as an excuse. I shall not fight with rage......but use the light instead. I do not wish for you to stop being my Master.....

A tear fell from her eye as she said this. Her heart was aching as she thought of how he could have just gotten rid of her.......but he was giving her another chance. She would change now......and be a true Jedi. She loved her Master and would give her life to make him proud...........

Xazor did not take her eyes from her Master's or leave her kneeling position when Alpha spoke.

I know that I had control of it at one time...........but a lot has happened since then. I will take control of it, starting now. Through intense training and meditation, I shall regain control.

She said, her voice still shaky as she spoke.

Xazor nodded slightly, not taking her eyes from her Master's.

This is a promise I am making to myself, you, and my Master. I shall not become angry and use it against anyone or anything. I promise to start conducting myself as a Jedi and using the light to accomplish the great tasks set before me.

She said, an aire of confidence in her voice.

::Verse turned his head to the shadows.::

"Come out. Test this one as you have before. Let us see if she has forsaken you!"

A look of confusion came over her face as she watched her Master's eyes look to the shadows.

She said confidently, hiding the fear behind her voice.

::Out of The Shadows came Sith Master Lord Kama.::

"My child, did you think I was gone? I have been told you are not teh Jedi you thought you were. Come let me take home. If you do not..."

::The man gave a throaty laugh.::

"You know what I have done to you. I will do it all again. I will give chase to Shade. He dealt me a nasty blow, plus he still holds your heart. If you do not come with me now I will kill him. I will rip out his heart and try it to the celing where you sleep. I then will sew your eyelids open and leave you tighted to the bed to stare at the heart till you die. That way you know what you have done."

::Satine started for the Sith, but Verse stoped him.::

Verse- "Let her choose what she will do."

The words pierced her heart.......every one of them. She looked deep into the eyes of her Master......and then back into those of Kama. Her heart ached as she thought of the choice put before her. She felt a bit of anger building against him, but quickly executed it with peace.

I........I cannot go with you no matter what you think you can do to me. I am a Jedi and my heart is here. I may love Shade........but I love my freedom more. I told you once that I loved being a Sith.....well..I was wrong. I found something better............and if you must, kill me.......but I would rather die a Jedi than live as a Sith........

She said in a confident voice, although her heart was gripped with terror.

Xazor shook her head. She remembered what he had done to her, but forgot those thoughts as she focused on the here and now. She looked right into his eyes and stood up from her previous kneeling position.

I will not do such a terrible act. No matter what you did to me then, or what you shall do to me now....I shall never do that to anyone...............ever.........

She paused a moment and looked into her Master's eyes again, then back into Kama's.

I.........forgive you.........

She said in a very soft voice...........almost a whisper. She had no idea what made her say it, but it felt......
right............

Tears begin to fall from Xazor's eyes uncontrollably. She runs to her Master and falls into his arms, embracing him like there is no tomorrow.

Oh Master, I thought I had lost you........

She cried into his shoulder as he held her.

::Verse hugged Xazor. He rested the top of his head on her head.::

"All is well. You have passed my tests. This is a hard lession to learn. Forgiveness is hard. So is not giving in to anger. If you are to become a Knight you must master these above all things. Yurza is wrong for corrupting Shade, but hating him will not change it. You must beat your anger and forgive him. You must learn to not let anger control you and run your life. Everyone gets angery. That is life. Beating that anger is what makes us Jedi though."

::Verse looked at Kama.::

"That is not your Master. He will tell you who he really later. I just want you to think. Go to your brother. Ask him if he has anymore to say."

Xazor took in everything her Master said, but especially the love in his voice.....and his arms. She smiled as she let the tears cascade down her cheecks.

I shall live by the light and forgive Yurza.......I shall never use the darkness again. Thank you Master, for this lesson.......I shall never forget anything that I have learned.......

She slowly broke away from the embrace and stood there, looking into his eyes for a moment.

Thank you.....you are the reason I live........

She said through the Force and then turned to Alpha. She walked over to him and knelt to one knee. After staying there for a moment, she rose again and looked right into his eyes.

My good brother, I broke our promise.......but now it is backed with a new one. You did right to me, and I thank you.........speak! Speak to me if you wish to say anything, say it!

She said as she took his hands into hers and smiled through her tears. They were not tears of sadness, though, but tears of joy. Her soul had been resurrected, and now she was a new person.

Satine smiles, and embraces Xazor in bear hug.

"I don't know what to say aside form I am proud of you. I don't think Verse would like to admit it, but you learned this lesson faster then either of us. And don't worry. I have a feeling I won't have to worry about you breaking this promise sis."

Xazor smiled as she was caught up in Alpha's bear hug. Tears of joy continued streaming down her face and a smile played gently on her lips. She closed her eyes and hugged him back as she thought of how lucky she was.

She said to Alpha and Verse through the Force as she cherished the moment with them.....

Xazor arched an eyebrow and looked at her Master. She smiles slightly and steps away from Alpha. He gives her a look of confidence and she slowly walks over to the Sith. Without saying a word, she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.

Hopefully the light shall reach you someday...........poor lost soul...........

She said in a soft and gentle voice as she embraced him. Her heart skipped a beat as she thought of what she was doing........but she didn't care, she felt......different now. There was a strange joy and love for everyone in her heart........it was a passion, like a fire that could never be extinguished.

:: Xazor looked up not to find he Sith Master. Instaed she saw a person that looked exactly like her MAster Verse. Only this man had jet black hair and goatee. Xazor jumped back in shock. The man raised an eyebrow.::

"What? You were expecting someone else."

Confused, Xazor looks to her Master and then back to the man she mistook for her Sith Master.

Yes, actually..........

She paused a moment. Then ran to her Master and brother.

If he is not here, then where is he? What did the council say? Are they going to..........have him killed? That can't happen! He should go back to Cysaria and live in peace..........

Questions raced through her mind. She did not wish to be responsible for his death......no matter what he did to her.........even after coming here and attacking her.........

Xazor was really confused now. She looked from the Sith to her Master.

He is your brother? Interesting........

Xazor spoke to Verse through the Force. She was piecing it all together now. He was the brothe of her Master, and he must have been the one who messed up Chaos......

But what is going to happen to......

She didn't think that anyone really cared anymore. She thought that Alpha had taken Kama to the council, but now she wasn't sure. She really did not want to be held responsible for his death........and she wanted to forgive him to his face.

Satine had been silent through all of this, his skin paling go almost as white as the walls around him.

"What is it Alpha?" Xazor asks.

"I don't know where he went...When you collapsed in the Living Quarters, I forgot all about him, and helped you. I had forgotten about it till now. He musta escaped...I'm sorry..." Satine says, hanging his head in shame.

Xazor turned ghost white at his words. Her heart was gripped with fear once again as she thought of the ramifications this would have.

No.....it isn't your fault......but no one believed me when I said how he was powerful........even when he is down. He will not quit.......I have to find him.

Xazor unclipped her saber from her weapons belt and turned to leave, but as she did, she thought. She shook her head and clipped the hilt back to her belt. Taking off the whole belt, she walked over to Alpha and handed it to him. She then removed the sword from her back. The name "Chase" caught the light and reflected in her eyes. She handed it to Alpha and then turned to leave.

Don't worry.......I won't do anything stupid, that is why I am leaving those with you.

She then began to walk out, her pace was quick.

She bowed deeply as she spoke. She knew that Alpha meant well, but she couldn't let everyone fight her battles anymore.

Xazor smiled slightly and nodded to both Verse and Alpha.

She said with pleading eyes as she ran out of the temple. This would be her first "real" test.....and she planned on passing with flying colors. This was now her's to take care of.

If I need help........I'll call for you........

She sent a Force message to both Verse and Alpha as she ran down the stairs of the temple.

"I personally thought she was lost. I am glad she is still with us. Seems I get teh Hard ones. Fire Hazzard, Xazor, and now I have taken Vega's son. Seems I still have a long road to travel."
