Salemn saber training.

[Nash Stolar]

*Nash walked onto the training grounds.. he had a small bag at his side and humed to himself as he walked.. he stoped at an empty training room and set the bag by a wall and sat down.. It was around noon.. Nothing was out of the normal and nash enjoyed training.. he took out his saber and started to spin it while humming.. Waiting for his padawan to show up.. Once she does her will start her saber taining..*

Salemn, receiving Nash's notice, rushed into the assigned training room and looked around. Upon seeing her Teacher, she smiled and walked over to him. She held the hilt of the lightsabre and tilted her head to the side slightly.

Yes, Nash?

[Nash Stolar]

*Nash stood up and bowed slighty and smiled*

"Good afternoon, my padawan.. Today we will start your long awaited saber training.. Any questions before we get started?"

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn smiled and bowed back.

No, Sir, I await further word to begin my training...

[Nash Stolar]

"Alright.. first off just ignite your saber and swing it around a little. I'm sure you have already done this.. But I want to see how you handle your saber."

[Salemn Lysce]

Yes, Sir.

Salemn's finger moved down to the ignition button and pushed it. The faint humming sound filled the room while a beam of white light emitted from the saber. Swinging it around a couple of times, she sliced through the air with ease. After awhile, she stopped and grinned somewhat foolishly.

Is that good?

[Nash Stolar]

"Very good... I see you will be able to use it well."

*Nash went into a bag he brought with him and pulled out a small sliver bot, he pressed a few buttons on its side and it floated up and started to hover around salemn and beeped once in awhile as it did..*

"Okay, I want you to try and hit it, It will attempt to dodge your attacks and slowly get used to your way of attack. It won't shoot back so don't worry about it.. and try not to kill it."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn smiled slightly at Nash's words while she eyed the hovering robot. Nibbling on her lower lip slightly, a look of determination passed on her face. She watched it while it circled her for a moment, then struck out with her lightsaber. The little droid swerved to the side and beeped while it started to analyze her. Her missing blow was followed by another ... which missed. Narrowing her eyes, she spun around and hit the droid on its side with her lightsaber. Sparks flew while the beam came in contact with the metal, and the robot spun around, clicking and beeping.

[Nash Stolar]

"Thats good.. you can stop now.."

*He looked at the robot it, Its side had a dent in it now.. but it was still able to work.."

"And you did not kill it ether.."

*Nash walked behind his padawan and put a blindfold over her eyes.. He could tell she was supprised for a moment.. Nash then walked over to the droid and pressed a few of the buttons on it and it beeped a few times and rounded them again..*

"Okay.. As you can tell you will not be able to watch it this time.. But your eyes can desive you.. Use the force to watch the bot's movements.. and then block its shots and attack it when nessary.. This may seem hard at first but over time this will become a second way to fight to you.. Now... start.."

*Nash backed away and watched*

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn was surprised to find that he was putting a blindfold over her eyes, but she knew he had his reasons. Frowning at his words, she held her lightsaber steadily, waiting. Suddenly a sharp stinging pain in her left arm told her that the droid had taken shot at her. Wincing, she concentrated and called upon the Force. Another sharp pain in above her kneecap told her that she had better hurry up. Sighing, she reached out with the Force and felt the the droid's presence.

Smiling slightly at her new "vision", she struck out with her lightsaber, watching as it skipped to the side. It shot out at her and she jumped to the side, deflecting it off of her lightsaber. It bounced off and hit the droid, sending it into another fury of beeps.

[Nash Stolar]

*He grinned and walked over to the bot and shut it off and smiled at his padawan*

"Okay.. Very well done. The small stuff is done. you can take off the blindfold.."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn nodded slightly and reached up, untying the blindfold. It fell loose in her hands and she looked up at Nash.

What are we going to do next, Sir?

"Have you ever wonderd what sith were like? As in.. getting to see a few?"

*He looked at her with a grin*

Salemn tilted her head slightly, pondering over this.

Yes, I've wondered... As for seeing one, well, sounds like fun.

She grinned back at Nash.

*he checked that all his weapons were in place then ruffled salemn's hair*

"Okay."

Salemn smiled while she deactivated the saber.

"Have you ever seen a sith?"

*He asked as he started to walk*

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn hurried after Nash and thought over his question.

Maybe once or twice, I think, but I doubt I ever paid heed to that.

[Nash Stolar]

"Well there big and ugly and kill to kill small things.."

*He joked and laughed*

"Well... Some arn't that bad but some are also worse.."

[Salemn Lysce]

She grinned and laughed silently to herself.

Oh really? Then I'm glad I still haven't fought one, yet.

[Nash Stolar]

"So am I.. have you spared anyone yet?"

[Salemn Lysce]

She hesitated for a moment.

Well, um... No, not really.

She cleared her throat and flashed a nervous grin.

[Nash Stolar]

*Nash placed his hand on his padawan's head*

"Tell.."

[Salemn Lysce]

Well ... Define "spar".

[Nash Stolar]

*He laughed slighty*

"You know what a spar is.."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn sighed and kicked the ground aimlessly.

Well... My brother and I once got into a fight, which we called a "duel". Another time I had defend my...possessions...

[Nash Stolar]

Had em scared for a little..

*He smiled*

"So what did you do in both of them?"

[Salemn Lysce]

This time Nash could hear a giggle inside of his head.

Why, I outsmarted and beat them both!

[Nash Stolar]

*He laughed out loud this time and ruffled his padawan's hair*

"Good, good... you did not hurt them to bad I hope?"

[Salemn Lysce]

Of course not! They both ran away whimpering.

She looked up at him and smiled.

[Nash Stolar]

"Good... jedi do not need to kill to prove they are better.."

*He chuckled*

[Salemn Lysce]

Exactly why we must show the Sith the same path.

She clasped her hands together behind her back, a serious expression across her face.

[Nash Stolar]

"yes.. But its never going to get easy.."

[Salemn Lysce]

I know, Sir... But we, as Jedis, must never give up.

*He nodded with a smile*

"Yes. Thats why we have lasted for so long.."

[Salemn Lysce]

*He smiled*

"Good... I was wondering.. why are you mute anyways?"

[Salemn Lysce]

I think I was born this way. For all I can remember I was mute.

"Okay.. I was just wondering.. Now that we are talking.. anything you want to ask me?"

[Nash Stolar]

*Nash rested his arms on his knees infront of his padawan so he came to about the hight she was at.*

"There has to be something."

[Salemn Lysce]

She shook her head vigorously.

Really Nash, there isn't anything.

[Nash Stolar]

"Alright.."

*He stood up and and started to walk off again.*

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn sighed silently and hurried her pace, so she wouldn't lag behind. Being only fourteen, she had to take twice as many steps as Nash in order to keep up with him.

Where are we going ..?

[Nash Stolar]

"I have to stop at my room to pick up some things... Then we are off to visit the sith."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn stopped, hesitantly, then shook her head. Falling back into pace with Nash, she spoke again in his mind.

... Alright, whatever you say, Sir.

[Nash Stolar]

"Hey, You don't have to call me sir.. Nash if just fine if you want."

*He keeped walking*

[Salemn Lysce]

She nodded.

Alright.

[Nash Stolar]

"....."

*He keeped walking, checking now and again to look at his padawan*

[Salemn Lysce]

She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. How much longer would they have to walk until they reached his rooms...?

[Nash Stolar]

"Not far now... But I know a way we could get there faster.."

*He looked down at her with a playful grin*

Salemn's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Nash.

Really? Oh, please show me!

[Nash Stolar]

*His smile became a toothy grin*

"We race!"

*Nash started to run not giving his padawan much of a chance to start*

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn's face was lit up by a cheerful grin as she chased after him, feeling the adrenaline pump through her veins.

Hey .. Wait up .... I don't know where we're going!

[Nash Stolar]

*He laughed and keeped going*

"Thats why you have to follow me and I get to win!"

[Salemn Lysce]

Bah .. You meanie!

She hurried after him, delighted.

[Nash Stolar]

*He laughed and ran but slowed down enough to give his padawan a chance to some what catch up*

"Is that the fastest you got?"

[Salemn Lysce]

Well, if I knew where we were heading ... Then you'd be bathed in dust.

She grinned as she slowed down next to him.

What's the matter? Tired already?

[Nash Stolar]

"I was letting you catch up slowpoke."

[Salemn Lysce]

Slowpoke? Where? Oh, I'm sorry, dearie me. You wanted a mirror to look in. Sorry, I don't carry vanity products with me.

[Nash Stolar]

*Nash smiled and sped up leaving his padawan behind*

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn ran after him, trailing close behind. A impatient whine could be heard in his head.

Are we there yet?

[Nash Stolar]

"In a minute we will be there... Then off to hell we go!"

[Salemn Lysce]

She grinned and continued to run.

[Nash Stolar]

*After a few short moments they reached the great building.. Nash looked around and enterd.. then walked twords his room*

"Hmm.."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn followed after Nash silently, glancing around once in a while.

[Nash Stolar]

*They soon stoped at his room*

"Okay.. wait here.. I will be a second.."

*He walked into his room*

[Salemn Lysce]

She stood outside of Nash's door, waiting ..

[Nash Stolar]

*nash walked back out with a grin on*

"Okay... lest get going."

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn looked at Nash curiously, then somewhat shrugged.

You lead the way .. I'll get lost.

[Nash Stolar]

"Sure there is nothing you need before we take off?"

[Salemn Lysce]

Shaking her head, Salemn replied.

Well, I've got my lightsaber ... Oh, wait. Yes, there is something. May we go to my room so I can fetch it?

[Nash Stolar]

*He smiled and nodded*

"Alright.."

[Salemn Lysce]

She bit her lower lip softly.

... Could you lead the way?

[Nash Stolar]

*He nodded with a slight smile and started twords salemn's room.. soon they were there and he stoped at the door*

"......"

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn opened the door to her quarters and disappeared inside, only to return a couple minutes later with a pouch slung over her shoulder. Grinning crookedly, she looked up at Nash.

Well ... I guess it's time to go now.

[Nash Stolar]

"Okay.. were off."

*He started to the door of the LQ*

[Salemn Lysce]

She followed him silently.

[Nash Stolar]
