OrionCarde your training begins.......

[Shade Magus]

Shade walked in the Academy with his newest Padwan following him behind. He walked over to a big rock and jumps up on it and sits down. He then turned to his student and spoke.

"Tell me....wy did you choose to become a Jedi?"

[OrionCarde]

"I relly don't know." My father told me that He was once a jedi but he was to old to teach me. So he told me to come here." As Ace jumped up onto the other rock. "Why do you ask?"

[Shade Magus]

Shade nodded.

"You'll see why I asked soon enough.....now. How do you feel about your training?"

[OrionCarde]

"I feel good. Not to be be ance but when do we get started?" Asked Ace as he sat cross legged.

[Shade Magus]

"We will begin as soon..................................."

Shade then walked over to a tree and climbed up it. When he reached the hightest limb he unclipped his lightsaber and ignited it. He then threw it down and use the Force to cut off all the limbs and then he called it back to him.

".........as you can reach me."

Shade sat down on the limb and leaned his back against the tree and put one leg ontop of the limb and his arm resting on his knee."[/i]

"Alright my master." Ace said as he throgh down his robe a holster.

He cracked his knukles and brgan. He started to jump up on the tre and kick off to go higher and grab so he could kick off again. When he got half way up he sliped and fell. Ace manged to roll when he hit so he wouldn't get to hurt.

Ace shock of the sharp pain in his left knee and conitued to do what he was doing until he reached the top. By th time Ace toke a brake for a minute his left knee was bleeding and his left arm was spraned.

Ace then disided if I was going to make it up he would need one more try. Ace focused all the force he could gather into his jump and jumped 3/4 of the up. Ace jumped off the tree and grabed with his hand the branch Shade was sitting on. Ace swaning him self up and said "Master I am here."

Shade nodded at Orion.

"So you have.....show me your hand and maybe I can help with the pain."

Ace holds out his hand feeling a slit tingel wondering if this is going to hurt.

[Shade Magus]

Shade took the guys hand and acted as a medium bewtween the Force and his student and watched as his wounds healed before both of their eyes.

As this healing takes place he feels as though he had just gotten out of bed. Kinda sleepy but awake. "Thank you my master."


OOC: I will not be repling quickly because of internet problems.

[Shade Magus]

Shade nodded.

"Don't mention it. In tiem you will begin to do this also, but that is a ways off for right now."

Shae then stood up on the high branch and then jumped down and landed with cat-like grace.

"Now come down and we can continue the training."

ce smiles to him self. All pain is gone for the most part, his brusies just faint cuts. "I can't beleave this." Thought Ace. "Now to continue the training."

Ace jumped and landed in a kung-fu fighting stance and gathered his cloak and blaster.

"Master....what shall we train for next?"

[Shade Magus]

Shade walked a complete circle around his Padawan before ending back in front of him.

"Alright Orion...is that what you prefer me to call you or is there another name? Either way, feel free to call me Shade when we are in these training session. You should only call me master otherwise just for traditional reasons. I think I could help you better if you saw me more as a freind than as a superior."

"Ace would be better master...err....I mean Shade."
Ace said. "Well my friend as soon as you are ready could we begin my training."

[Shade Magus]

"Very well......."

Shade circled Ace a few times.

"First I want to try and free your mind. I want you to begin to think outside of your normal limits.....look over at that pile of boulders over there and tell me what you see......."

Shade turned Ace around and indicated a large pile of rocks behind them.

"All right I'll try." As Ace searched his thoughts he saw that the pile of rocks was really a pile of rocks. He sighed. "Shade, Master, Friend, I don't see anything but a pile of rocks."

[Shade Magus]

"Are you sure? Look again."

As the pair looked nothing changed for a few moments. Shade then turned back to Ace.

"Before we go any farther, allow me to rephrase the question. What do you feel? Look with your mind's eye and not the physical ones."

[OrionCarde]

"I understand my friend." said Ace as he sat down.

Ace sat cross legged on the ground for several hours.
"My master I see a pill of rocks that has a low medi-cloren count. Is that what I was suposed to be looking for?"

[Shade Magus]

Shade chuckled.

"In a way...yes, but look beyond the rational veiw. Don't see the midi-cholorin count. See the energy that flows from the Force. Reach out and touch the energy. Run your fingers through the strands of the Force almost like you are running your fingers over strings to an instrument. Focus the energy and call the stones to you."

[OrionCarde]

"Ok my friend I'll try."
As Ace stod up he closed his eyes and put his right had forward. Ace stood there not moving for several seconds and one of the rocks slowly rose to the air. Sweet was dripping down his face as he slowly used braught it closer to Shade. The rock fell right at Shades feet and Ace ploped to th ground exasted.

"Well master, I did it." Ace grinned.

[Shade Magus]

Shade smiled at his new Padawan and freind.

"Very good. You seemto be a bit tired. Why not take a few hours and rest or practice this on your own for awhile. We can continue later tonight. There are a few tricks I can teach you then."

Shade looked up at the sun and the back at Ace.

"Meet me back here in about five hours. That should give you time to rest and practice."

[OrionCarde]

"Alright my friend. 5 hours." Ace said as he sat down and rested his body while his mind flew into the force.

[Shade Magus]

Shade walked off into the temple and returned within the appointed time with a bag of food. It would be for another test of Ace's. He strode up to his Padawan, without making the slightest sound. He stood there not moving and barely breathing. He would see how long it would take for Ace to realize he was there.

Ace waited for seveal hours after the appointed time. "I wonder were he could be? I sence his prenece but were?" Ace the realized he should get up and look for him. Roght before he got up he heard a faint breathing behind him. he jumped up and did a 180 in mid-air and landed in a kneeling stance with blaster set on stun.

Ace realized it was Shade. "Sorry, Master. How long have you been standing there?"

[Shade Magus]

Shade just smiled.

"Long enough.....long enough........"

Shade sat down the bag he was holding and looked at Ace.

"That's a really nice blaster you got there. Mind it I hold it?"

"Sorry Shade it was a gift." Ace said as he holestered his blaster. "So my friend, what next?"

[Shade Magus]

"Well....the reason I asked to hold it was part of your next test, which will now be doubled."

Shade tossed the bag of food to Ace.

"Now take off everything you don't wish to take....I am taking you to a planet, on which I will leave you for a week. Your test is to learn to feel through the Force. I will go there tmorrow and plant five objects. Your test will be to find them and bring them back to me. Each one you miss or leave, that is one mile you'll have to run."

"Ok I understand."
Ace sat down a picked out everthing that he didn't need.
After a hour of packing, unpacking, and packing he put all he needed.
"My friend I am ready.

[Shade Magus]

"Ok...now follow me. I'll pilot th ship and take you and drop you off."

Shade then turned and headed for the hangars.

Alright, I'll start the new thread soon. I am just going to start you over since you didn't get very far with Shade. We'll move quickly, though, so it won't be like you'll be stuck in a rut <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">
