Sia-lan steped into the training grounds. It was late as she looked around. No one was there. She Leans against one of the walls and falls into meditation, waiting for her new padawan to arive.

The Jedi Temple was a very interesting place, Jaden had discovered. He had taken a few moments to explore and become familiar with his surroundings. Now though, he ws heading towards the training grounds to begin his journey to become a Jedi.

As he turned the corner he saw his new Master, Sia-Lan Darkheart and he smiled. Walking up, he bowed in greeting.

"I am here Master."

Sia opened her eyes and looks at him. She nods and stands up straight. She sizes him up and nods again after a moment.

"Tell me what you know of the force and a little about yourself, Jaden." She says after another moment, smiling.

OOC: I apologize for my late reply...NY life gets kind of hectic, especially in the auditioning world, lol.

"Well I was born and raised on Corine, in a small town. My father is a lawyer and my mother on the board of educators. It was their wish for me to become a lawyer like my father and so I was given many opportunities for which I am grateful. Uhhh...I went to college and majored in English and then went the opposite way and earned a degree in archaeology. I spent a few years doing that before I quit. It was pointless. So I became a volunteer teacher. I can't even pronounce the name of the planet, too many v's and x's, but I spent eight months there teaching the children who couldn't afford to pay for schooling. The Government didn't like that I was teaching...they're very racially unbalanced there. I refused to stop and so I was deported and banned from returning." he paused, smiling mischievously.

"On the transport I met an old spacer, Atiga. There was something strange about him....though I don't know what. He told me to seek out the Jedi. It....felt right. So I came here instead of going home. As for the Force, I'm afraid I'm not too well learned in it. From what I understand it is what binds the galaxy together and there is a light and dark side to it. But other than that, I'm at a loss." Jaden smiled.
