View Full Version : Spirit of joy.......(open spar)

Xazor walked into the Jedi Academy and peered around. Seeing no one, she slowly walked to the middle of the large complex and began stretching in the dim lights. Outside, it was raining steadily and had been for the last few days. Nothing seemed to change, and the sky remained gloomy. Her hair was damp and cold on her neck as she continued stretching.

Standing up straight, she looked around and smiled. I wonder if someone will care to spar with me this morning..... The Jedi Knight thought to herself. She scanned the shadows and felt a presence, but she did not see the body it belonged to.

I wish to spar this morning, if someone will accept my challenge, I would be most grateful....

She said with sincerity. Unclipping "Love", her new saber from her weapons belt, she ignited it. The weapon was precious to her.....a gift from Sage Hazzard. It had been his since he was a padawan, and the Jedi Master had given it to her on her promotion day. She smiled gently as a blue shaft of light shot forth from the hilt. She twirled it around in her hand a few times and awaited the arrival of a sparring partner.

"Why.... good evening"

Feel like a real test Xazor? It's been a long time since I sparred a fellow Jedi

Xazor turned around and saw him. She smiled for she could feel his presence before he had entered.

You wish to spar with me? Alright.....

She was a little nervous....he was sure to be so much better than she....

You may go first....if you wish.....

She smiled gently and held her saber in a defensive ready position, parallel to the ground at waist level.

If we are not watched (OOC : If no one is watching IC, feel free to watch OOC), I would prefer to drop this disguise and spar you without the effects Shadowing in the Force causes.

The doors to the room close and then lock, the only light being the glowrods in the ceiling. His sword was clipped from his belt and dropped to the floor.

"Agreed?"

Xazor
Apr 6th, 2002, 05:28:56 AM
Xazor nodded and bowed to the Jedi Master.

Yes, it is agreed.

She said softly, looking around to make sure that no one was there.....

A small shimmer accompanied the removal of the cloak... there seemed to be nothing there for a blink until Marcus looked up, his unkept hair and beard visible over his stained travelling clothes.

"Very well.... "

He began to step forward, calling two wooden training katanas to his hands and in the last moment, accelerated and attacked, swiping at Xazor's head from both sides.

Xazor
Apr 6th, 2002, 12:02:38 PM
Xazor ducked and the two katanas locked together. As they did so, she swept the Jedi Master's feet out from under him. He went falling and she sent a powerful Force blast to his chest, aiding in the fall. She took defense again and waited for him to attack....

From the ground, the Master uses the Force to push Xazor back, then throwing one of the training weapons at the spot where she had been pushed too.....

Xazor fell back, but she could feel his intentions. She quickly figured out that it was to both of their disadvantages to spar with one you have a life bond with. She rolled out of the way when she hit the ground and the weapon made its mark where she would have been.

She quickly got to her feet and ran for Marcus. She faked a punch to the face and he blocked, but she had run behind him. She then slammed the hilt of her saber into the base of his neck, sending him to his knees. Just as she did this, though, she pulled a muscle in her shoulder. She winced and held it with her opposite arm. She tried to shake out the pain, but it was doing her no good, so she simply took a defensive stance once again and hoped it wouldn't bother her to much.

"Good, Good! But now...."

He leapt to his feet, rubbing the back of his neck, the training katana in the other hand.

"Lets really dance..."

One of his main advantages over his opponents was the fact he planned ahead and set traps. No one else seemed to do that, which always meant he always far more dangerous. But here, there wasn't any way to plan and set up without Xazor knowing. The Life Bond was indeed goignt o work to his disadvantage....

Or was it?

The other real skill he had over others was the way he could split his attention and focus. His mind had always worked on two levels which he used. One level would bein the present, fighting in the here and now. The other would be planning ahead and setting up the final blow. She could "know" his innermost thoughts however and with time, would be able to even be used to the two level thought process.

His concious declared an attack coming from the right.

His sub concious set up for an attack on the left.

Which one was correct, she would have to decide as he came at her...

Yes, the Life Bond was a disadvantage. But who said you couldnt make a disadvange work for you?

Xazor
Apr 6th, 2002, 11:04:10 PM
Xazor smiled, proud of her attack. She then was confused. Marcus was thinking so many different things at once......she knew he was going to attack, but his mind was saying from the right.....and from the left. She dug deeply into her mind and penetrated his through the life bond. She could pick up on the physical side of him now......each muscle moved in a direction and she could feel it. He was going to attack from the left, she was sure of it.......and he did. She was gone before he even got there and had already a plan. When he spun around to see her, he ran right into a Force wall that she had just created. He fell back in pain and she took the opportunity to pick up some sand in her hand. She then blew it at him and created the Force illusion of a hundred throwing knives soaring for his body. At that time, she pulled out two of her own throwing knives and thew them along with the illusion. It was nearly impossible to tell which of them was real and which was fake........and the real ones made their mark. One in his right shoulder and one in his left. She called both of them back to her left hand, and slipped them back into her belt. She too was one to plan out her attacks and if things went well in each sequence, she would always follow through with what she had planned........but now that she had this life bond.....it made things slightly complicated.....

OOC : Cant be bothered changing accounts :p

IC : "Your not the only one good at illusions"

His hands had her throwing knives. After eing tagged in the shoulders, his hands had grasped them and kept them in hand. The fleshed parts of his shoulders stung.

"Now lets see how fast you really are..."

He sprinted forward without warning, swiping at her face with one of the blades in her hands, the other for the solar plexus.

Xazor
Apr 8th, 2002, 08:56:01 PM
Xazor was really fast, but he didn't know that. She was built for speed and it was working to her advantage. She ducked and rolled to the side, totally avoiding any contact with the blades. She grinned and looked at the ceiling above them and noticed a few broken beams. Using the Force, she shook the beams down and three fell right on top of the Jedi Master. Xazor heard a few crunches.....but wasn't sure if they were ribs or boards. She smiled and held her saber in one handed style for defense....if he could get out from under the beams. She knew he could, so she stood on her guard and waited.....

Oh great. Juuuuuuusssstttttt the type of trick he would pull. He ducked into a ball as wood and metal fell down. He used the Force to give him protection, to cushion impact and pain.

The noise of the fallen roof silenced and the dust started to clear, before one fo the pieces rose up, seemingly of it's own accord and flew straight and hard at the Knight. Other pieces rose in quick succession and in a few seconds, a hail of debris was being flung at Xazor with The Force. Last of all, Marcus got to his feet, doing his best to shake off the pain of the roof falling on him and something broken (Rib? maybe), however he also came at Xazor, using a large piece of wood as a club as more debris, commanded with his mind was flung at the Knight. He got close enough and swung the wood at her head.

Xazor
Apr 9th, 2002, 06:35:07 PM
Xazor sliced through the wood with her saber....but the other piece flew off and hit her in the head, knocking her to the ground. Blood spilled out of the fresh cut as she slowly rose to her feet. She rubbed her head and healed the cut with the Force....but it still brought her much pain. She focused and rushed at Marcus, then fell to the ground in front of him. With a swift movement of her right leg, she swept his feet out from under him, then threw sand in his eyes to blind him for a while.

When you cant see, let the Force do it for you...

Words the old bitch that had initially trained him so long ago had said and words he always remembered. Your eyes could play tricks or you could be blinded in a fight. His senses already deep in the Force, he "felt" where Xazor was. He reached a hand out, the Knight feeling as if his hand had grabbed hold of the front of her clothes. She was pulled off her feet in a directed fall towards the Master... which ended about 60cm away from the Jedi on the ground as from the floor, Marcus lashed out with a punch. It caught Xazor flush on the jaw, her own momentum adding to the power of the fist. With a thump, she she landed right next to the Master, who added a backfist strike to the face, which didnt quite work as she was too close.

Marcus rolled away, blinking the sand out of his eyes, standing and coming up in a defensive stance.

Xazor
Apr 9th, 2002, 08:06:50 PM
Xazor rubbed her jaw and nodded her head, sending the message that the attack was well planned. She smiled and took off running at him. Once close enough, she faked a hook kick to the back of his head, and quickly brought her foot around for a roundhouse kick to his face. She made good contact and spun around on her heal for a spinning back kick. He blocked it but she was right there with a spear hand strike to the head. She again made contact and smiled as she moved behind him and took defense again. Making him think that it was his turn to attack, she called on the Force and gathered some water from the small stream that ran behind him. Slowly she brought it over....and dumped it all on his head, totally soaking him. He appeared shocked and Xazor could not help but giggle to herself.

OOC : A stream? I thought we were inside...? Ah well, I'm going to run with it

IC : He turned to face Xazor, then sprouted water he had caught in his mouth into her face while she was in mid giggle. He was tempted to give her a cheeky wave, but instead stepped once, twice, spu and leapt high, executing a spinning side kick, the sole of his boot clipping Xazor on the side of the face with ia loud slap.

Now where had that stream come from....? Oh, he saw it now a leaking water pipe...

Water pipe?

He moved to the side as Xazor got up...and with the Force he ripped the high pressure pipe apart, a geyser of water firing past where he stood a second before, the Knight being hit with a pressure wave of water, much like a fire hose that at the least making her stumble with the liquid assault.

He couldn't help it. He had to laugh. It was almost like a holotoon he was so fond of watching in his childhood.

Xazor rose to her feet and rubbed her stomach where the water hit. She would feel that for a few days. Squeezing the water out from her hair, she laughed at herself also. Bending over, she scooped up a handful of sand and blew it at Marcus. She then used the Force to create the illusion of thousands of butterflies going toward him. They got close enough to his face, that the flapping of their tiny wings were blinding. He had lost concentration and had given Xazor a prime opportunity to attack. She rushed at him and did a tornado kick. Once and then twice she kicked his face and then resumed a fighting defensive stance as the illusion disappeared. It opened into the clear air.....and the view of a grinning Xazor.....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 9th, 2002, 09:38:38 PM
"Eh, what was with the butterfiles?" he asked, rubbing his jaw. Ouch.
The floor of the sparring area was covered with water now and he reached down and threw a handful into Xazor's face playfully. He was about to flick up some more when he had a though.

Why was the water near his fingers so cold? It was warmish coming out of the pipe.....

He continued to splash water at Xazor, circling to a specific spot a few meters away. His hand brushed something. Keeping his mind concentrating on trying to splash as much water at the young woman as he could, his finger quite suddenly grabbed hold of the object they brushed.. and in one lightning fast move, picked up and hurled the round sheet of ice at Xazor's stomach. She was too close not to miss. Xazor was knocked off her feet and slid into a wall in a spray of water and ice, Macrus picked up Icefist, his sword. It had more shards of frozen water clinging to the scabbard. The blade had some years ago had an Art of the Jedi placed on it, so that it would super-cool it's surrounds. Air wasn't totally affected, but liquids and solids were. Only his hand could touch the weapns and hope not to get frozen into a solid chunk. A beautiful weapon it was, but a throughly dangerous one too. He threw it away, so it landed onto a training table, out of harms way.

Now for the first time, he drew out his sabre, Athona. The blade came to life, then began to colourshift. He crouched into a defensive stance, waiting for Xazor to get up again. Hopefully her sabre was waterproof.

Xazor
Apr 9th, 2002, 09:42:10 PM
Xazor rubbed her stomach again as she regained her footing. She called her saber "Love" to her hand and looked at the Jedi Master. The saber had been a gift to her from Sage Hazzard on her promotion day, and she held it dear to her heart. With a blinding flash of blue, Xazor was all over the Jedi Master. With a fierce uppercut, she caught him off guard and swung it around to make a stinging contact with his right shoulder.

Marcus QDunn
Apr 10th, 2002, 04:33:26 AM
He was already spinning around as she struck out, lessening the effect of the blow. He twisted further around getting inside her guard and whipped the colour shifting blade up around and in an arc swung - stopping the blade a bare few centimeters from her throat. His shoulder sizzled and smoked, the clothing there still smoldering form the effect of the blow as he stepped back and saluted with his sabre.

"I've been sabre fighting for nearly a century now and I'll pass on what I have learned. What you did wrong was attack too fast, to come forward. I would have been waiting somewhat longer before trying all out attack. Spend some time feeling out what my style is and seeing if you can spot weaknesses. feel out how strong I really am and how fast I really can be. Ypu are fast, but that must be tempered. Now excuse me for amoment..."

He turned off his sabre, shrugging off his shirt and cloak.

"That hurt. I will need to attend to my shoulder first before continuing. Now dont be offended with what I say, I only want you to survive and to remain a good deal less scarred than I am..."

He turned his back as he went for a medical box.... she could see the many scars and markings that he had obtained in a lifetie of fighting... as well as the huge scar that marked where the blaster nearly took his life.

Xazor
Apr 10th, 2002, 05:57:34 PM
Xazor took in everything that he said. She wanted to learn everything that she could from this great warrior. He was so much more skilled than she and she hoped to be at least half as good as him someday. As he removed his shirt and cloak, Xazor could see the many scars he had.....and one very large one. She then remembered her own....it was a little late for saving her skin. She had too many to count. He was unaware of this.....and she thought she would share a little of her past. She shrugged off her cloak and removed the robes that gracefully hung from her muscular frame. She gently laid them on a nearby rock and examined her scars. She was wearing a pair of black pants and a white tube top, so most all of them were pretty visible.......but what stood out most was the one on her right shoulder and the tattoo on her left. She sighed as she remembered the stories behind every scar.....she never forgot. Picking up on his thoughts, she sighed once again.

My life was almost taken from me......several times......

She said softly, hoping to make him see that.....

"I know.... I can see it in your eyes. You have the look of a person who has cheated death many times. I've seen you do it twice myself. The Force is with you Xazor in a way that is rare. You have a purpose and it's not by chance you continue to live. " He looked over his shoulder, staring at Xazor. "I wonder what that purpose is?"

He sat down, cleaning the shoulder wound, wincing every now and then.

"I cant even think of how often I have escped with my life"

Xazor
Apr 10th, 2002, 09:48:28 PM
Xazor smiled to herself and sat down on the ground. She had so many scars.....one might think them ugly, but she did not. They made her beautiful in a unique way.....they were her battle scars and she was not ashamed. They just marked how many times she lived.....

Yes......I too believe I have a great purpose.....for the Force has given me the strength to live. Master Jedi....why is the Force so strong with me?

She had always wondered this.....but never knew. Yes, it was a known fact to her and everyone back on Cysaria that her midichlorian count was pretty high......but did that have anything to do with it? She did not know. She could not describe how she felt when in meditation.....but it was like "oneness". It was an odd thing and maybe he could explain......

Marcus QDunn
Apr 10th, 2002, 10:13:34 PM
"Well for one, I dont believe in the midichloridians at all. That is scientific nonsense, a rationale for something science cant understand. And with that in mind, it really becomes an unanswerable question. How can any of us say why we are born as we are? Why does fate visit upon beings and deals a heavy hand? Why are others blessed?"

He thought for a moment.

"Why is it we are granted powers beyond most? Is there a God? Is the Force self aware? Is The Force actually God? Personally, I bleive power is given to those who can weild it properly or have some great purpose. Whether that purpose is done, or whether the power is well placed, which in most cases it is not, I dont know why. I wont seek to question that because in the end I wont know the answer untill I pass into Shadow and leave the world permantly. So tell me in return... what purpose do you think you will serve?"

Xazor
Apr 10th, 2002, 10:23:10 PM
Xazor looked down and shook her head before her eyes returned to his.

I do not know, honestly. I know it is something great.......and I hope to fulfill it. I know the things that I wish to do.....but whether that is my purpose or not, I am not sure.....

She thought about this for several minutes, trying to come up with an answer.....but she could not. It was another one of those "unanswerable" kind of questions. There was an answer.....but it was not for her to know right now.

I shall know in time.....

She said, reassured at the fact that it would be revealed to her through the Force, when she was ready.

Marcus QDunn
Apr 10th, 2002, 10:31:58 PM
"Maybe you will know before time. But what if you dont? What if it comes at you suddenly? Are you ready at any time?"

Xazor
Apr 11th, 2002, 05:57:53 PM
Xazor had never thought of this before. She smiled gently and nodded.

Yes.....I am ready......

Confidence flowed through her words and shown through her eyes. Indeed, she felt ready.....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 11th, 2002, 07:22:42 PM
"I hope so. To be honest though, all you can really do is not get fixed in stone and unable to react. You have to be nimble and always on your guard. You just never know."

He put a bit of synth skin to patch the burn, which made him draw in a breath with a hiss.

"Ouch. This hurts"

Xazor
Apr 11th, 2002, 09:51:38 PM
Xazor nodded slightly. She did not wish to become stuck and then falter when the time came for her to be ready. She watched as Marcus carefully took care of his wounds. It appeared as though he was in some discomfort and she recalled several times when she had to adress her own wounds. She smiled slightly and spoke.

How am I sure my purpose has not already came?

She questioned, thinking back to her past. She gently rubbed the tattoo on her left arm.....hoping she had not blown her chance to fulfill her great life Task.....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 11th, 2002, 10:46:31 PM
"How can you be sure that it has not come? Easy. Are you still alive? Your purpose is what your life is. You live your Purpose. Whether there will be a great Task, I dont know. I'm sure there will be"

He seemed to withdraw into himsef.

"Like I'm sure there is one for me"

Xazor
Apr 12th, 2002, 05:55:35 PM
Xazor smiled gently and nodded. He was very wise.....and she was making mental notes of everything that he said to her.

Yes.....I am still alive.......so I must have a greater purpose than what I have already lived....

She thought about this for a moment and it was all beginning to make sense. There was something greater out there for her.....there was something more. All of the things she had already done were going to appear small to her life's purpose......for indeed, that would be her life.......

I know there must be something great for you, Master Jedi.......I too wonder what these things will come to be.......

She smiled as she thought to herself of all the possibilities that it could be for her life.....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 12th, 2002, 08:06:10 PM
"Something great? So I have been told. I was taken from my home when I was young. I was trained as a Dark Jedi to fulfil a prophecy - there is an ancient jewel that can unlock a vast evil. Only the Dark Side can release that power - only Light can destroy the Jewel. My former Mistress, she is still out there, with her beasts... looking for me, seeking to not kill me, but force me back to Darkness. "

He used the Force to bring his sword to his hand - he pulled it out of its scabbard.

"This is more ancient than I ever knew until not long ago. I call it Icefist, but it is not. My clone, Darth Turbogeek converted this sword from an heirloom of Arda to something a Sith would covert. It can't be touched by anyone other than it's rightful owner, it freezes anything it touches. But underneath the unrightful Magics, there is an Art. This is Andunril, Flame of the West. I was only told recently this is the sword of my father, and his father and beyond"

He looked at the glittering edge, contemplating.

"Helenias is not what she would claim as well. She is Ardaian as well. When we met, 11 years ago, she was stunned to find out I came from the same cluster she did. Instead of the high gravily hell planet, she came from a planet of beauty and peace. She told me much of home, a place a have not seen for so long. She told me she dared to vist the burning sands and the caves the people live in to shield themselves from the sun. But her home... a garden planet, a paradise. I dont understand how, but she is a Princess, a noble born. She also has powers of sight I just dont understand"

Xazor
Apr 12th, 2002, 08:28:11 PM
Xazor listened intently as Marcus spoke of his past. She smiled gently and reached her arm over her shoulder and pulled a sword from her back. The blade gleemed in the light of the Academy and the name "Chase" that was engraved on the top, bounced the light into her eyes. She squinted for a moment as she moved it so the light was not so bright from it.

Our pasts are similar. I too was taken away from my parents at a young age. I was handed over to the Emperor on my home planet and raised in the ways of the Sith. Yes.....I learned a lot.......a lot of nothing. I learned how to be a killer, and I was good at it. I killed many, Great Jedi Master......too many that I lost count at four hundred. I was horrible.....but I enjoyed it. At first, it was not my choice....but then I made it to be.

She rubbed the tattoo on her arm.....it was encrypted on her skin and in her blood....unremovable. She sighed slightly and let her hand drop to her sword's blade. She rubbed the smooth surface and felt moisture rise in her eyes. She took a deep breath to fight the tears that were about to make themselves known.

I met a fellow Sith and fell in love with him. His name was Chase.....and he was so incredible. He was not like most Sith, though. He actually had a kind heart......he hated killing, and only did it because of his father. He too was noble born....on a different planet, though. He was sent to Cysaria by request of the planet's Emperor...and we fought side by side and fell in love. We were engaged to be married.....but he was killed three days before our wedding.....

She gently wiped her eyes as she felt tears building. She would not cry in front of this great warrior....it would be embarassing. She smiled gently and continued to look at her sword.

He knew that I hated being Sith.....he was the one who got me the books so I could study up on the Jedi. Once we got married......he was going to help me escape so that I could find the Jedi and learn their ways like my heart desired. As a promise to help me......he gave me his sword......this sword...... His name is engraved on it and his favorite quotation on the back.

She flipped the beautiful sword over to reveal another engravment. She smiled and ran her hand over it, then proceeded to read it outloud.

Pain is weakness leaving the body..... He always said that.....especially when he'd get injured around me and I would worry about him.

She laughed to herself as memories flooded her mind. A grim expression overcame her face again and she spoke once more.

He always told me......"I will help you find your way....and if I am not here........Chase those Jedi down until you've found them. Then.....join them and fight for what is in your heart.........".

She could not help it now and emotion over took her.....and a few tears cascaded down her cheeks and kissed the ground of the Academy. She wiped them away with the back of her wrist and looked up at Marcus. She did not expect him to be interested in any of this....but she felt the need to speak of her past since he had so openly shared his.

I'm sorry.....

She said as she cried and tried to keep up with wiping the tears away. It was not a very good system and she seemed to be failing at the task......

Marcus QDunn
Apr 12th, 2002, 09:08:59 PM
As she cried, a roughly textured hand brushed her cheek. She looked to see Marcus now standing in front of her.

"Dont be afraid to cry. I'm not going to think less of you. I might even think more of you, for you have the ability to let your feeling show. You care. You have passion. Maybe it's not the Jedi way.... but I dont care. I've never really cared. To deny our own emotions means that they become a burden. That is heresy for a Jedi to say, but I will anyway. In my heart, I will not deny who I am - and neither should you. We both have the blood of many on our hands, but that does not mean we should not give up and become hermits. You and I are both Warriors and that means we fight. But..... we both want more than anything want peace. Isn't that the strangest thing? We both know war, but what we really want is to be peaceful. I think I am right about you on this. Tell me if I'm not"

Xazor
Apr 12th, 2002, 09:35:24 PM
Xazor was relieved that he did not think less of her for expressing her emotions. Most of the Jedi would be, but he was not most Jedi......she smiled gently as he wiped away her tears with his war-worn hand. It was a comfort to know that she had a true friend who did not care what others thought about their ways.

You are correct......I do want peace more than anything.....so I fight for it. It is a strange thing....

She smiled as she thought about this. Yes, she wanted peace....but in order to achieve that, she had to fight. That is why she was a Warrior, and not something else. She was proud of what she did and knew that it was for honorable causes.

We fight for what is in our hearts......we do not fight for what others think we need to.......

Xazor knew this to be true. She did not care what others thought now......it did not seem to matter. All of the small things in life were just that......small things. Peace and such things were what mattered and she was there to honor that.....and to bring it by any means, even by fighting.

Xazor nodded at his words.

Yes......that is true.....and yes, I think it good that we continue and with our swords....

She smiled and ran her hand over the name on her sword. The memory of Chase was in her heart forever and with the sword, she remembered him even more vividly.....

Shall we?

The Knight smiled and walked toward the middle of the complex, leaving her cloak and second-layer robes on the rock. She would fight in her regular clothes this time....

He picked his sword up, leaving the clothes he had taken off on the bench he had sat on. An experimental flexing showed the patching had worked.

He drew the blade up to his, saluting Xazor.

"Dont let the sword touch you. It's deadlier than a sabre. Now, shalt we dance?"

He drew the blade back, then attacked, the sword leaving a fogged trail as it cut the air in it's passage

Xazor
Apr 12th, 2002, 11:10:32 PM
Xazor had heard those words before, spoken by a Sith......"Shall we dance?". It was something she was asked everytime she fought with one. She grinned slightly, heeding his words about his sword. With a quick spin on the ball of her foot, Xazor's sword was locked with his. They held it there for a moment before Xazor pushed him backwards. As he stumbled and tried to regain his footing, Xazor jumped and kicked him in the chest, knocking him back even further. With another blinding spin, she slashed her sword toward his left thigh, waiting to see which way he was going to move before she went in for a cut....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 12th, 2002, 11:24:10 PM
He blocked the slash to his thigh, replying with a stroke directed at her head. The swords began to ring and spark as the metal clashed with each rapidily fired hit. Marcus began to feel the wild freedom that using this blade gave him, the freedom and power. To feel the blade hum as it slashed air, to feel it vibrate as it stuck Xazor's sword. He quite abrupty stepped forward in a parry, deliberatly treading on Xazor's foot to stop her moving backwards. One of his hands came free of the sword in a blink and then punched the woman clean on the jaw.

In a fight you must lash out with every limb - like the Octopus that palys the drums!

Wise words from his original fighting teacher

Xazor noted his words and did as he instructed. With a smile of confidence, she lashed out at every limb. With a spin to the right, she slashed at his right arm, but he blocked the strike. She duck under his blade and slashed to his shins....making a clean sweep of both and leaving a paper thin cut that would hurt and throw off anyone's concentration. She spun around once again and labeled the side of his head with a crescent kick.

I will be mindful of your words.....

She said, taking a defensive stance once again.

His sword leaped out again, smacking into Xazor's blade. Again the blades clashed and again, Marcus stepping in close. One of his hands seemed to move off the hilt, indicating a hand strike. It was a fake. His knee came up, catching her low in the stomach. She was forced backward, this time Marcus hit her in the face with a backfist. She went backwards more, givng the Master enough room to leap, then strike out with a double "Dragon Stamp", both feet hitting her high in the chest. She was pushed backwards - hard into the still gushing waterpipe and it's spray.

Apr 13th, 2002, 07:44:04 PM
Xazor fell back into the cold water and winced as some sprayed into her ear. She rolled onto her back and laid there for a moment, trying to catch her breath. After a minute or two, she slowly rose to her feet and looked at the water. Her brother Alpha had once found out that Xazor and water together was a bad combination.....and soon Marcus would find that out also. She grinned slyly and casually walked over to the shooting stream. She placed her hands in it and dropped the temperature by thirty degrees or so. Suddenly, she called on the Force and sent a mass amount toward the Jedi Master. The freezing cold water soaked him to the bone and left a shocked expression on his face. She laughed to herself and regained her defensive position once again.

Apr 14th, 2002, 07:13:51 PM
But his expression was not quite as shocked as Xazor's... as he leapt to the fountaining water and stuck the blade into it. Icefist literally froze the water it touched, sending a spray of super cold iceshards straight into the face and body of the Knight.

While she was recovering from that attack, he ranged in, batting her sword clear before a snap kick collected her under the chin

Xazor
Apr 14th, 2002, 08:48:26 PM
Xazor's head snapped back as Marcus's foot made contact with her chin. She stumbled to regain her footing, but recovered and charged for the Jedi Master. With a smiled on her face, she faked a slice across his chest. While he was blocking, she ducked and spun like a tornado, landing a powerful cut from his right hip to the middle of his abdomine. She hit the ground and rolled back onto her feet, taking a defensive stance again. It was hard to concentrate, though, for the stinging sensation from the ice was still on the surface of her skin, and on the thoughts of her mind. She shook her head to try to clear her mind, but the irritation persisted. She would have to overcome it somehow....

Marcus QDunn
Apr 14th, 2002, 09:42:52 PM
That stung. Not badly.... but it did. Marcus attacked again...

[Sword of Water grant me the power
Sword of Water grant me time.....]

Icefist seemed to quiver for a second, then it stopped fogging the atmossphere it trailed through. He then pulled off a trick only a sword Master would dare. He attacked, his hand touching Xazors... and basically swapped swords with a very fast sleigh of hand. The Knight would have remembered what Marcus said about Icefist, dropped the sword - The Master stepping forward, Xazor's own blade touched against her throat.

On the floor, Icefist was in a puddle of water that began to frost after a few seconds.

Xazor
Apr 14th, 2002, 09:57:39 PM
Xazor looked down at the blade of her own sword which was right at her throat. She swallowed hard and her eyes slowly drifted up to meet with those of the Jedi Master. She seemed to look right through him for a moment, and focused on something.....elsewhere. With a quick thought suddenly a large amount of sand was flying up from all sides of Marcus, except from the front. He appeared unaware as Xazor made the granuals appear as thousands of stinging bees. The buzzing sounds that she created to add to the effect was loud and he back away from her, looking around at the dark mass that was looming toward him. As his concentration was broken, Xazor grabbed his wrist and eased him into a wrist lock, retrieving her sword. She spun around and took a defensive stance, waiting to see what he would make of the well planned illusion.

"Nice illusion"

He turned back to face Xazor, with a grin on his face.

"Pity the Life Bond gives it away". Marcus poked his toungue out in a comical way. "Would have been quite effective otherwise"

He reached down to pick up his sword, keeping an eye on Xazor as he did... then realised it was stuck to to floor, frozen along with the water it was lying in. Marcus had had this problem before, but not this badly.

"Oh great...."

Marcus closed his eyes, then used the Force to rip the sword free. However, bits of the floor broke away as well. A few long slinters fell to the ground, the Master instantly seizing them and throwing them like darts at Xazor, before swinging his sword to recommence his attack.

Xazor
Apr 15th, 2002, 08:53:50 PM
Xazor blocked several of the ice darts, and they were crushed against the silver of her sword. Marcus came at her then with a fury of strikes and she recoiled, taking up a block and then spinning around one hundred eighty degress to block another strike. As he chambered for another blow, he left his chest and stomach wide open. Xazor grinned and took this as a great opportunity. With one swift motion, she made a clean slice from the top of his left hip to his solar plexis. By this time, he was there to stop the blade from shaving up even further. She ducked under a strike and wipped around into a defensive stance once again.

Having to hold his hand back becuase of the dangers of the Icefist to Xazor was now proving a disadvante.

"Earendil!"

Icefist seemed to suddenly glow - then became like a glowing piece of steel. It's edges took on a blue / white tint as the whole nature of the sword changed. No longer "Sword of Water" as creted by Turbogeek, but it's true self, with the true Arts that had made the blade in the first place. Anduil, Flame of The West. Marcus paused, wiping some water off his brow, feelign out the cut on his side before saluting and attacking. His blade went high, cracking into Xazor's. Another ringing set of attacks signalled a real upping in the tempo, the Master flinging the sword about much faster. Beign a long weapon, it had it's disadvantages, mainly being it was not as fast to strike, but it gave a lot of power and leverage.

He was now backing Xazor into a corner. But before she got there, the Master stepped inside a strike by Xazor, took a hand off his sword and punched her. He then swung down, giving her a good cut on her sword arm's bicep

Xazor
Apr 15th, 2002, 09:41:23 PM
Xazor winced from the pain and growled low, her Garou canines quite visible, much like the first time she had revealed her true self to him. She turned away from him and walked in a circle, trying to rid her mind of the pain in her arm. The cut had landed itself right under the saber strike her Sith Master had given her. She placed her left hand over the wound and tried to heal it with the Force, but it did not work very well and only a thin layer of skin appeared. She cursed lightly under breath and regained her stance once again, perspiration heavy on her forehead as she fought against the pain. She rushed at the Jedi Master and faked a strike to his left arm, then quickly spun around on her heal, landing a crescent kick to the side of his head. She regained her footing in front of him and used her left hand to send a heavy Force blast to his chest, sending him back a yard or so. He held his ground well, giving her the disadvantage. With fierce determination, she rushed at him once again and jumped over his head. Landing softly, she drilled the hilt of her sword into the base of his neck. This, in turn, tore a weak muscle in the wound on her bicept. She growled in pain, but did not let it show on her face. Inside she was screaming, though.....and it showed through her soft blue eyes......

Apr 15th, 2002, 10:32:41 PM
The warning in the Force came and he instinctively ducked and rolled. The coldness of her sword just gazed the back of his neck. Going to the floor, he rolled away getting clear.

Put your pain to one side! Peace and calm!

He was cut and bleeding and his shoulder was now feelign like it was on fire, but he used ther Force to will the pain to not exist for now. His eyes were hard and flat, focused on the Knight. Sweat dripped off his nose and mingled with blood. Marcus inhaled, then launched himself at Xazor again. Steel flashed and clanged, Xazor forced backwards once again - and with a bit of a push with the Force, she went through the stream of water comign from the broken pipe. Marcus triple stepped while she was recovering for the water assault, bringing down his sword viciously at her right shoulder. The high velocity water blast deflected the sword, the flat beam now instead about to smack Xazor right on the ear.....

Xazor
Apr 15th, 2002, 10:50:19 PM
Xazor heeded his words and focused the Force to block out her pain. With quick actions, she ducked and fell to her left side, missing the flat beam that was intended for her ear. She was right near him and swung her right leg out, sweeping his feet out from underneath him. As he fell, Xazor created a Force wall and he landed right on it. She heard a loud crunch sound as she scurried to her feet. With a grin, she quickly thought up an illusion she had been working on.....but it was more of a physical illusion. As he stumbled to his feet, she constructed a Force box around him, making it nearly impossible to escape. Then with much concentration, she called on the water from the broken pipe and let it consume the whole box.....appearing as a water barrier around him. She then used her gift of controling the element of cold. It was a strange thing, but her Force Brother, Alpha, controlled heat, and she controlled coldness. She walked toward the "box" and placed her hand in the running water and quickly turned the temperature down to freezing......and now he was in a glorified ice cube! It was great.....if only her Master could have seen it. It had taken her several months of practice to get this illusion/reality just right.....and she finally did it. A large grin adorned her expression, and it made the whole fight worth it.

Marcus QDunn
Apr 15th, 2002, 11:59:09 PM
There was a pause for about 10 seconds.

The ice cube began to crinkle and crack as the Master closed his eyes and gathered in the Force around him...and with a mental cry of effort pushed

BANG!

With an ear shattering detonation, the cube shattered and exploded into a hail of lethal shards. Pieces flew everywhere, bouncing off walls and the ceiling, smashing and filling the air in the near vicinity with pieces of ice, the most forceful pieces flying in Xazor's direction.

Now that was impressive for a Knight. He was shivering from the after effects even. She was indeed a challenge. And a challenge called for him to really use his abilities. Marcus scanned around fast, got his bearing, then picked up the young woman with the Force, hurling her into a row of glow panels along the wall. The panels collapsed, sparked and exploded as they shorted out, the water on Xazor's skin becoming an energy conduit. Electricity arced around her body, while the rest of the panels, some of the pieces razor sharp.

She liked Force walls now did she? Well there was something even better. He closed his eyes and concentrated, a glowing outline appearing around his body. The sword in his hand also increased it's glow as well, almsot in response to the Force Shield Marcus had now placed placed himself inside.

Xazor
Apr 16th, 2002, 08:48:09 PM
Xazor tried to rise to her feet, but the blow against the wall with an addition of electricity did not help much. She placed her hands on the floor and pushed herself up, and then balanced her weight against the wall. She growled deeply and tried to block the pain from her mind, but she was not as succesful as she had hoped. Forcing herself to deal with it, she limped foreward and walked until she could walk almost as well as before. The pain in her body continued, but she would make herself pay closer attention so that it would not happen again.

She then noticed a slight glow about the Jedi Master, and the sword he carried. She felt through the Force and with the help of their life bond, discovered that he had created a Force shield around his body. She nodded with a grin, knowing well the advantages to this shield. She too had used it many times while batteling Sith. It was one of her favorite ways to protect herself. She focused and in no time, she too had a Force shield wrapped around her body and her sword. With a grin, she eyed Marcus.

I keep forgetting that most everything I can do......you can either do it too.....or do it better than I!

She laughed light heartedly at her comment and took up a defensive stance, though her body ached all over when she did, she knew she had to press on through this battle. It was a challenge, but that was what she had wanted. She was tired of sparring with others who held lesser abilities, and those that she sparred with regulary. It was time for something new and this was perfect......

"Well... now this would be interesting. But tell me, would you trust your shield in an exchange with mine? Your tiring and you are hurt. And.... "

He was very experienced at moving matter, or teleknesis. He understood it almost beyond anyone else, understood and fined tuned his control. And right now, his mind was moving the air that was around her head away from her, creating a partial vaccuum over the space of 10 seconds around her head. Not much, but growing as the time ticked away....

".... You need to breathe. A shield can be circumvented."

Xazor
Apr 17th, 2002, 09:20:09 PM
Xazor knelt to one knee and closed her eyes, falling into a deep meditation. She had stopped the Garou healing process while the battle was happening......but now she needed it. Soon her body was healing the internal wounds and the outer wounds were slowly closing before Marcus's eyes. She centered the Force and focused deeply, using it to aid the healing. She usually did this meditation during battle, and her opponent usually wondered what she was doing. As she was in this state, she used the Force to regain most of her energy. It was not near what she had when she began, but it was good enough to be effective once again. Another vital thing in this state.....she slowed her rate of breathing down dramatically so she only needed to breath a few times per minute, not requiring a lot of oxygen. With a subconscious smile on her face, she stayed on one knee, fully bathed in the Force and attuned to what was going on around her.

Marcus QDunn
Apr 17th, 2002, 11:23:54 PM
Finally, she had made a misstep!

Her focus and her power was inward, which left Marcus, a bit weary and injured, but not overly with a free hand. The air around her was thin, held back and more importantly she would not feel that the temperature was rising. The fact he was causing the very air molecules to to compress and heat up was hidden by his mental effort to create the partial vacuum of air.... and now as his mind squeezed his fist came up and his hand opened. Almost impossibly, a small flicker of flame appeared on the palm, dancing and jumping. The flame grew a bit before Marcus puffed, the flame moving like a feather, dancing and moving between himself and Xazor. The flame itself was caused by a very tightly controlled telekinesis, which rubbed enough air molecules to create heat, to combust oxygen. The flame flittered to the area where Marcus was at present compressing as much air as possible, still hidden by the vacuum he was causing... the flame went into the area and went out.....

Marcus very suddenly leapt behind the first bit of heavy cover he saw and his mind released the compression - the flame sybolised a wick as the final application of heat was given...

WHUMP

The hugely compressed and thence heated air was released. The heat rushed out, enough to ignite the air itself... the compressed air area also reached ignition temperature, creating something akin to a fuel / air explosive. The shocwave powered out, a wall of flames also arched out. Winodws blew out as flames rocketed through the room and the shockwave blew Xazor not into the wall, but through it. Debris rained around the area as sprinklers went off, pieces of ceiling came to the ground, along with pieces of wall. Not a single pane of transparisteel remained in place -- and the hole Xazor had left was huge.

The Jedi Master got back to his feet, brushing off some plaster from his shoulders. If she hadn't had the Force shield up, she would have been spectacularly killed. As it was, it would be interesting to see how well her shield held, and what it didnt help protect. Also, what was that other room she had been blown into?

OOC : That would have damaged you, but I leave that to you to decide how badly. And also what is in the next room.

Xazor
Apr 18th, 2002, 09:44:30 AM
In the next room over, Xazor slowly rose to her feet. Her skin was tarnished with black ashes. Her hair was covered with them, and she could not see. As she finally stood on solid ground, it did not last long. She fell hard and winced at the pain she felt in her leg. She tried to wipe the ashes from her eyes so she could see. With only minimal vision, she investigated her leg. On it was a deep red gash...more of a burn than anything, but it was deep nonetheless. Other than that wound, her Force shield had held up very well.....as she expected. She had been perfecting that since she learned how to do it. With a slight smile, she stood up on her left leg, and limped across the small room. It hurt badly when she walked, and she knew she needed to treat it soon. Blood flowed out from it and ran down her leg. Opening a small door across the way, it led back into the main complex. She saw Marcus standing there, unhurt. She limped over to him and bowed slightly.

Very impressive...Master Jedi. I feel really tired suddenly....

She did not realize it, but she also had sustained a massive gash on her forehead, accompanied by a concussion. Without saying anymore, she passed out on the hard floor of the academy. Her sword, "Chase" lay about fifty feet away from them....it had no marks of any kind on it. She had used more of a shield on her beloved weapon than on her.....

I am so sorry Master Q'Dunn........I didn't know it was you......

She said softly, hoping she had not slapped him too hard. She swung her feet over the edge of the bed and stood up as if nothing had happened.....but then she fell. She had gotten up way too quickly. Grasping out at the cot from, she rose to her feet, her knees were wobbly. She laughed once again, but ended up holding her stomach because there was a slight pain when she did. She suddenly realized that she didn't have her sword.

Xazor bowed to the Jedi Master. A grin spread across her face.

Good!

Of course she didn't need that long. She smiled and then suddenly "disappeared". Really she had Force jumped into a tree next to them and started swinging from branch to branch. Her upper body was very strong and she had built up from doing this for fun. The jungle vines and tree branches were very sturdy and she had no fear of falling. She had made it pretty far into the Forest when she looked at the crono on her wrist. It had only been two minutes and she still had time to go. Without hesitation, she continued by jumping into the next patch of trees. She almost lost her footing, but grabbed onto a large branch above her head and took a deep breath before continuing. She then began swinging through the branches once again until she was quite a distance from her starting point. Walking at a slow pace would have taken one at least fifteen minutes to get to where she was. She did not drop from the trees just yet.....she would wait up there until she caught sign of Marcus. She then remembered the life bond. He would know where she was for sure! She tried her best to hide herself in the Force......and in the shadows......

Xazor sits atop a tree, looking down at the forest floor below her. She sees nothing, and only feels the presence of the creatures that inhabit the forest. She sighs slightly and leans back on the branch to rest while she has the chance. She goes into a shallow meditation to restore the rest of her lost strength. At about 3 km into the forest, Marcus sits under a large tree. He closes his eyes and begins to draw in the Force... being life bonded, it was easy to "see" where Xazor was - not so easy to catch her off guard.

He stayed deeply in the Force, feeling the location she was on - the trees, the plants, the rocks, the animals. Thinking and deciding.

Apr 24th, 2002, 11:02:36 AM
Xazor suddenly felt Marcus probing her mind for location details. She shut her eyes, aware that he could see through them if he wanted to. She drowned herself in the Force and thought of a different place.....There were waterfalls and birds everywhere, lush patches of flowers and grass surrounded her as she sat on top of a rock, on the edge of the Forest. She transferred this image into Marcus's mind through the lifebond. Hopefully this would mess up his perception and make him believe she was elsewhere....

Suddenly, the brance was pulled down and released....flinging Xazor several meters into the air. She hit the brance above her, knocking her back to the limb she was just on. She landed hard on it, trying to catch herself by grabbing onto it. Small claws appeared on her hands....and helped anchor her to the branch. As soon as they appeared, they were gone. Taking deep quick breaths, Xazor wiped some blood from her forehead. She was slightly dazed for several minutes, and then finally regained some mental composure, keeping her guard up and sitting on the branch looking out for Marcus. Surly he had done that to her. She sighed, feeling her ribs.....they were sore, probably bruised. She coughed up some blood but otherwise she was alright. She fell into deep meditation, ready for anything that was about to happen. In this state, she could feel many a things through the Force, long whiles before they actually happened....

Xazor sensed a small crack forming in the tree above her. She had not thought much of it, until a large crack was heard. Quickly, she fell from her limb.....but the drop down was about fifty feet. She would surly die on impact, but she knew how to get out of this one. She reached out and grabbed onto some vines as she fell. The pain from the burn they caused her hands was immense, but her life was worth it. Either the large limb or the fall would kill her, so she decided to take painful burns istead. Finally getting out of harms way by landing safely on another limb, she examined her hands as she stratled the branch, setting herself down on the sturdy appendage of the tree. She winced in pain as she touched the palm of her right hand. She was wearing a bandana and took it off of her head, ripping it in half. With a great deal of pain, she pulled some herbs from her belt and sprinkled them on the burns. She then gently wrapped the tender wounds with the ripped cloth. Sighing slightly, she wiped the sweat from her forehead and leaned back against the tree. She knew that Marcus was on the move.....and sensed that he was closer than she had originally thought. She took her lightsaber from her belt and almost ignited it when she heard a crunching sound under her. She looked around and saw nothing, but would not let her eyes decieve her. She let her strong Garou sense of smell kick in.....and it sensed another being....not human, but not animal either. Perhaps it was him, perhaps not. She couldn't let it go though, so her finger slipped over the ignition switch and a blue beam of energy shot forth with a hissing sound. The steady hum of the saber was a comfort to her as she sat atop the tree limb.....waiting for the hunter....

He had his eyes closed as he pulled back on the string of the bow.... and when he felt the time was right, he released. The Arrow arched out, impelled by the bow as it arched upwards, clearing the undergrowth.... then beginning it's almost silent decent.....

Xazor was immediatly aware of the arrow, coming straight down at her. She wrapped her legs around the tree limb and fell to hang upside down. Quickly she looked around and spotted a limb about two meters below her. She let go and fell to it, grasping onto its sticky leaved branches with one arm. She pulled herself up and then jumped to another branch across from it. Now she was in a totally different tree. She crawled up the limb in silence.

Hmmmm......

Now what was he do now now? He pondered. Using the same trick twice was not what he wanted to do - and right now he didnt have ideas.... he simply and sliently closed in, keeping his senses aware and open for any sudden counters.

He suddenly had a funny idea. He used the Force to "throw " his voice.... an a very loud bellowing belch sounded about 1 meter behind Xazor

Xazor ducked and hugged the tree limb tightly as she heard what sounded like a large belching noise behind her. Her heart jumped a few times until she settled. She was slightly on edge and it showed by her reaction. Looking all around her, she sat back up and leaned against the tree.

I hope he isn't playing some game with me.....

She thought to herself. She still felt a presence on the Forest floor, but somehow, she couldn't pin point where it was as she usually could. Certainly if it was Marcus, she would be able to feel his presence....or could she? She kept keen eyes and opened her perception....this time, she would be ready....

Me, play games with you? Nah, never!

"But i am making a point Xazor" he called out from his place about 50 meters away. "If in doubt of your opponents moves, never stay in the one spot. Become a difficult target. Standing where you are, your too easy to attack. Make it more difficult. You have the advantage of alomst knowing what I will do before I think it, in a real life situation, you wont. For a while ignore my thoughts.... try to use the Force instead. Move and react, plan and counter plan. That is what I want to see you do"

As the Jedi Master spoke, Xazor was climbing around the other side of the tree.....but continued to listen. Suddenly, small claws protruded from her hands and she began to climb up the side of the tree. It was quite a spectacle.....but Marcus couldn't see her doing so. She climbed higher and higher.....until reaching the hight of seventy feet off the ground. It was so high up there, but she was not afraid. She rested on a branch and the claws in her hands disappeared. She looked around her and then recalled a helpful tool she had used on their mission to Cysaria. She pulled a grabbling hook from her belt and shot it at the tree adjacent to the one she was in. She hooked it to the tree she was on, and grabbed the handle. Silently, the Knight glided across the rope and landed safely in the other tree. She disconnected the hook and retracted the ropes. Clipping it back to her belt, she found a vine and grabbed onto it. Her hands were still in pain from the burns, but she forced it out of her mind, swinging to the next tree. She located another vine and swung to the tree behind that one. Now she was a good distance away from Marcus....but she could still see him. She remained hidden from his view. She then pulled a blaster from a holster on her thigh....one she had refused to use for so long. She was a sharpshooter, and could pierce the heart of any being from any position, several meters away. She aimed at him from behind the tree. Suddenly a beam of light shot out and zoomed through the air. It would have made perfect contact.....except for the fact that he knew it was coming. Not only was this because of their Life Bond Link, but because of his strong adeptation to the Force. Even without the Link, he would have felt it speeding toward him. She sighed and sat back on the limb, trying to think of what to do next. She placed the blaster back in its holster and peered around the tree once again. He was gone! She rushed to the end of the limb and jumped onto the next branch which was only a foot or so away. Landing safely, she felt around for him, but could not locate his presence exactly. This worried Xazor and she moved about the tree, climbing up to branch after branch while heeding his words to not become a target. She had to keep moving or he would surely nail her, if not with a weapon, then with a Force attack. This spar indeed was a very difficult challenge.

OOC : Might just want to correct one thing - A Jedi Master would not be shot so easily. A Padawan still basically untrained, yep. Master? Nope.

Lets see.... Xazor's in a tree.

Marcus has a bow and arrow.

Okay...... :: The Jedi Master quickly reaches into his pack, pulling out a different arrowhead, taking off the standard one amd placing the bigger, new one on. He notches the arrow in the bow, pulls back, takes aim and fires.

The arrow scytes out, striking the trunk of the tree... and the explosive tip arrowhead detonates, blowing the trunk of the tree apart ::

Or I'll think of something nasty

Xazor is blasted out of the tree and begins to fall. The drop is about a hundred feet or so, and if she was to hit the forest floor, she would die. She looked about her, keeping her calm. Then, she reached out with the Force and swung a vine toward her. She grabbed onto it, slidind down it as she had before, increasing the pain in her already burned hands. She gritted her teeth and exposed her elongated canines as the pain increased to an almost unbearable amount. She then smashed into a branch of another tree and her fall had been broken. So had another rib....... she placed her hands on her sides and felt the broken rib. She forced a healing wave into it, and mended the bone tissue back together just good enough to allow her to continue on without much pain. There was only a throbbing annoyance noe, but she would live with it. She sat up on the new branch and realized that she was nearly fifty feet away from her last tree, and she had no idea where Marcus had gone to. She jumped to a branch above the one she rested upon and positioned herself facing west. She then looked around her, able to see most anything. She then spotted him, looking up into the tree just next to the one she was in. She called on the Force and loosened some broken branches, letting them fall toward the Jedi Master. He would have to have lightening reflexes to avoid being crushed by the heavy branches.
