Understanding the Force - The First Step (finalkwest)

Navaria had choosen one of the small empty lecture rooms to start her new Padawan's training. Finalkwest had no skills in the path that he now wished to follow. It was importan for him to understand the path that he wanted to walk first and hopefully then, he will continue on it...

The room was brightly lighted from the sunshine outside. It was early morning so the humidity common on the planet wasn't too bad. It actually was comfortable, much like this room.

Empty desks were lined up neatly and Navaria waited for her Padawan to arrive.

OOC Note~ If any other Padawan would like to discuss what the Force is and the purpse it holds for a Jedi and all that fun stuff, I don't mind. This is meant to be more informative <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Just a side note, most people don't like having other people write what their characters do. Best to just go with what is happening and focus on your character. Make sure you read over the FAQ here as well ^_^

to learn, to take a care about others, to ease suffering in the republic.

The only Jedi cleansing she knew of was during the Clone Wars ... Her Padawan was speaking strange of things he really couldn't knew...

A past life. Navaria understood now. She had heard of things being recorded long ago but never had she met someone that claimed it and believed it so strongly.

With the Force, anything was possible, and perhaps it sent finalkwest here to continue his purpose once again.

Hopefully not for evil.... Navaria would have to train him carefully and purposefully.

"Then it is time that you connect with the Force. Close you eyes and let the Force flow into you with a clear mind. No thoughts at all so it can freely enter you."

"As you can feel, the Force can help you see who else can sense the Force. This is one of the fundemental powers a Jedi possess. Without it, other abilities cannot be learned.

OOC~ Yes of course you can do that, I am working up to those abilities through our lessons here in this thread. Abilities can range from lifting objects to heightening your senses. There are alot of things a Jedi can do.

The past of a potential Jedi was important. There were always many situations that had caused fear, anger and hatred. Those feelings had to be conquered in order for a Padawan to move closer in ascending and trusting the Light...

i think my emotions are what balances me

She sensed that kwest was having some difficulty in remembering some things that had happen. Some were powerful emotions but he was able to keep they at bay.

It was a good start.

"Keep your mind clear. Feel at peace ... calm ... these are the emotions that help you to hear the Force... Let go of yourself and embrace its energy slowly... start to feel it flowing into you."

But beware of hatred, anger and fear. They will lead you down the path of the Dark Side and it can consume you."

"yes master i will be warey, the dark side may be more alluring quicker, and dangerous. i understand hatred, nothing good comes from it, i have hated b4 intollerence to other peoples way of life, there skin tone and ethnic background.
now i realize, every one is unique. Iwould be angry at different races just because i never took a second look to see the "person" as an individual."

ifear constant De-evolving know that i want to be superior to answer to no one ..but i feel that this "course of action" to start my training, is one that will be dealt with a new understanding of the power of the force. this is an honorable way to study from what was given too us freely by the creator..

Navaria unclipped her sabre and held it out for finalkwest to see.

"A Jedi's weapon."

She smiled and placed it before him on the desk.

"Do not touch it for now... just move it. Move it by believing in the Force and letting it guide you to make it rise."

slowly almost not seen the sabre hovers slightly on the desk.

i smile at Navaria, and say"WOW".
intime of need , the Jedi can call upon the order and meld with their unused power and focus on the task at hand

She did manage a smile.

"The Force is amazing, I know, but remember what I said before. A mind needs to be at peace and at calm when you lift the sabre off of the table."

It was a challenge. He was able to force the sabre to stand up but lifting it off the table and holding it steady in the air was another task ..

"The sudden knowledge of the force. suprises me, the shock of actualy seen it, I focus on other powers of the force to control my visions'
it was a "challenge"that needed to be made some things became, well, quite visual

Navaria gave a disapproving look as she watched the blue blade ignite with a snap-hiss

"You need not impress me."

She turned the lightsabre off.

"This is a dangerous weapon. You have good control now but lets not push the issue. I don't need an accident to occur."

She returned to the desk, leaning on the side.

"We start simple. Calm and control. Make the sabre spin...."

OOC~ Yes... I believe in that too.

IC~ "Excellent. You do have the beginnings well. In time that will grow as you break down the walls of things you think you know ..."

She smiled.

"Most of us realize that there is a great many things that we do not know as time goes on. The Force opens up this awareness. To some, they would think we are Magicians because we can lift this item with a thought."

To add emphasis, Navaria called the sabre to her hand and clipped it back at her side where it belonged.

"At this point humor me... Focus once again upon channeling the Force... Let your mind expand and then pull out a color for me."

It sounded absurd but this did hold a purpose.

I had a vision,a red ruby in a ladies hand with subtle alterations in the visible lines of force choosing was hard
i'd pick bio-luminescent blue

She nodded.

"Just as I thought. With your progess thus far, your mind is very open to the Unifying Force. It is the same with me."

" night or day it dosent matter, iwill be meditating on it for, the message and its components" said kwest

"iwould like to build a sabre shortly, having components and a way to follow i will get there"

But more imporntantly healing energy is what needs to be in my realm{self heal}

"To be able to heal, one must find grounding in the Unifying and Living Force, my Padawan."

She turned around.

"A sabre... hmm.."

Navaria stood up and walked behind the desk. Keying up something on a datapad, Navaria picked it up and handed it to kwest.

"A promise before you take this. Do not ignite the blade unless I am present and no sparring with it until I train you. Otherwise you cannot take the schematics of a sabre."

"i see, grounding is akin to the jedi padawan, a firm basis for the prospect of force, understanding. The unifying aspect is like the Jedi Knight to bring the force forward{action} , in healing, to combine the understanding and action of healing.
And as a master to combine the final element the living Force into your life style so that by belief and acknowledgement the Force shall let me see the way."

"Yes master," i bow, " Iwill promise not to ignite it without you present and not to spar with it without proper training."

Navaria nodded.

"Good. As long as you follow what I say, then no accidental harm will come to you. A lightsabre is not a toy but a weapon. A weapon that a Jedi must respect for not only can it protect... it can kill as well.

Jedi do not take death lightly. When a Jedi takes a life, it must be of pure mind and soul. Knowing that it is the only way to protect those around you... and yourself. Never take a life without realizing what the consequences are. For if you take a life with impure intentions, another road to the Dark Side it could be."

::in the last few days i have been consumed with anger and hate, no not hate, maddening frustration i could feel myself just seething with anger, but just today i feel new i could face those frustrations and deal with them::

Navaria was accutely sensitive to her Padawan's frustration but was pleased that it was evaporating slowly. Kwest had begun to learn patience and full awareness of what it means to be patient will come in time.

But back to the lesson she was trying to teach.

"The power over life and death is when you are faced with enemies that you could easily kill. Be it a Sith or a simple killer that has no power with the Force. We know they are capable of killing countless beings but to take their life, to stalk them down so they do not commit the act again ... is that right?"

She looked dead serious at Ben.

"I am not talking about defending yourself and others when you know the crime is being committed. I am talking about taking matters into your own hands to end another's life."

::I belive that the act of taking life, (allthough not always of the darkside)
is moraly wrong.But.. If our diffrences cant be worked out verbally, and...intense conflict inside on this topic...:\ it is clouded for me the action demands deep Karmic retribution. It would definitly be considerd on a personal basis.::

Sometimes time doesn't allow such luxuries and we are forced to make decisions on the spot. With a clear mind and strong convictions in what you are doing, then our acts are pure...

Navaria stood up and motioned for her Padawan to do likewise.

"We have talked much and you have learn some basics. I believe that next time, our lessons will be more physical then philosophical."

Then she smiled.

"But all matters can become as such. Now then, time for you to study those schematics. Return to me tomorrow... outside, so we can begin your defensive training."
