The continued training of Clay

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay entered the academy and again his master was not here yet. He sat on the rock in the middle of the room and began to meditate like he had the day before.

[Xazor]

Xazor entered the Academy, perfectly on time. She then spotted her padawan, meditating as he had been the day before. She smiled and approached him with a bow.

Greetings my Padawan. I hope you rested well.....

She said with a smile, stretching her arms out. She had been up since the crack of dawn, for she always went down to the jungle and meditated by the waterfall she had discovered. Today would prove to be a most interesting day as she taught her first lesson on advanced Force illusions.

[Clay Dennatta]

" Hello. Yes i had a wonderful rest, and i hope you did also."

Clay was completly rested and ready for anything she threw at him.

"Whats the plan for today?"

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled, glad to hear that he had rested well. She had also had a nice rest, and it was rejuvenating to her mind, body, and soul.

Today we shall begin your advanced Force techniques training. You will learn a great many things such as Force attacks, Force defense, and Force illusions. All of these things, combined with your hand to hand and saber combat, shall make for a well rounded warrior. You will need to know all of these things if you wish to do battle.

She smiled once again, remembering how it felt when she started this part of her training. Indeed, this would prove to be a very interesting time. She would enjoy teaching him these things.

"Well fun"

These all sounded very fun for Clay because has always been for using force attacks over normal hand to hand or saber.

[Xazor]

Fun? A Jedi does not crave fun....

Xazor said as she laughed and shoved him over with the Force. He regained his footing and she smiled.

There, that is the first thing you shall learn, the Force push and pull. You want to focus on your target and move it.....kinda like when we moved the rocks with our mind. Grab onto them with your mind and imagine yourself pulling them in, or pushing them away.

She demonstrated again, by focusing and pulling him closer to her, just so she could push him down again.

Now I want you to try.....

She nodded for him to go ahead.

Clay started to focus on his master. He use the force to pull her torwards him till she was about a foot away, then he pushed her. It wasn't as strong as he had hoped. It only knocked her off balance a little and she regained her footing.

[Xazor]

Xazor clapped for her padawan and smiled.

Good! Very good! Now, focus deeper. Use your mind, like you would use your hands. Grab onto me and push me into that wall.

She nodded toward a wall that was about two and a half meters behind her. She knew that if he had confidence in himself, and his ability, it would not be such a difficult task.

You must believe in yourself for it to happen.....

She said softly, motioning for him to do it again.

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay thought momentarily, then started to say to himself I can do it, Ican do it, then using the force he pushed his master right into the wall behind her. She flew to the wall pretty fast but seemed to be not hurt.

" I knew i could do it"

[Xazor]

Xazor got up from her fall and rubbed her neck. She smiled and nodded.

That's it! Very good.......now, let's take it a step further. I want you to call things with the Force to aid you. Watch.......

She looked above Clay and focused on a loose rafter. She then called on the Force and shook the rafter out of place with her mind. It fell and crashed at his feet, just a foot in front of him.

Now, this is what you will be able to do after a while, but right now......I want you to focus on attacking me with those bow staffs on the wall.

She pointed to three bow staffs that hung on the wall.

Call upon them to crash into my body. Use the Force and have faith in yourself.

She said with a smile, and nodded for him to proceed with the lesson.

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay digged deap into the force and felt the three bow staffs. Using the force they came off the wall and floated in the air for amoment. Them Clay made them dash at Xazor with lightning speed and hit her right in the shoulder as she was rolling out of the way.

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled and nodded.

That was very good Clay. You are understanding these things well......

She said with an approving tone.

Now.....go for the boulder. I won't let you hit me......but I want you to aim for the target on the wall. Size does not matter.....and once you accomplish this, you shall be able to do things such as crash down loose rafters on people and such things. This is not easy and may take you more than once to get, but I have faith in you.

She said with a confident smile.

ic: Clay started to focus on the force and the boulder. He made it levitate then had it fly through the air at the target. It didn't move very fast but with more practice it would be like throwing a baseball, a couple ton baseball that is. He kept trying though and each time the boulder moved faster and faster as it moved through the air. After about an hour of this he set the boulder back in the middle of the room where it was.

[Xazor]

Xazor had sat down and watched her padawan focus and do this. He was not a quitter, that was for sure. He seemed to have an unstoppable attitude. She smiled and clapping could be heard in the room.

Very well done. Now that you have done this......I want you to at least try for the rafters. It is not as difficult as it seems. Loosed them and have them crash down somewhere in the room....but not on myself or you. Go for it....

She said with a bright smile. His training was going very well and he was sure to make a fine Knight someday....

Clay Focuse on the rafters and saw that there was bolts holdin them up. He unscrewed the bolts using the force and threw the rafters at the rock and the rock got a lot of nice chips and chunks ripped off it. He only did this once though cause he was afraid what might happen if yoo many rafters came down.

Xazor applauded her padawan and smiled once again.

You have proven yourself well. Now......since you understand this aspect of the Force, we shall move into Force defense. Earlier in your training, remember when I threw rocks at you and all you had to defend yourself was a stick? Now you have the Force on your side, and it is a powerful ally. Throw a rock at me...

She instructed him. He lifted one and threw it at her. She quickly imagined a solid wall standing between his body and hers. It is not seen with the eye, but it is there......the rock hits it and falls to the ground, then the wall is gone.

That is called the Force Wall. Though you did not see it....it is like the wind, you saw its effects. I want you to try, now. Imagine a wall between you and the attacking object, then call on the Force and create it in your mind as well as out in front of you or wherever the object is coming from.

She threw a rock with her mind, and it sped toward him. She then nodded for him to try.

Clay imagined a wall in his mind. He then felt through the force and made the force do the same. The rock was stopped dead in its tracks and fell to the ground.

" That wasn't much different than that of the Sith. They pretty much do it the same way just with a different side of the force."

[Clay Dennatta]

"Good good! Yes....that is true. You can do most of the same things you did as a Sith.....minus some of the spells and magic they used. You must learn to redo these things with the power of the light, though."

She said with a smile. She rose to her feet and brushed off her robes.

"Now......let's try something more advanced."

She lifted some sand in her hand and created a Force wall in her mind. She then blew the sand at the wall and imagined a net draping over the wall.

"This is not a defense....but it looks cool and I thought you would like to know how to do this. Just blow some sand out of your hand and imagine a net.....or robes, or whatever you like, draped over the wall. It makes the wall have a more physical appearance."

She nodded for him to try this trick.

Clay picked up some sand as his master did and in his mind he imagened a curtain over the force wall he made. Then he lifted his hand and blew it at the wall. Nothing happened. He lost his concentration as a comlink he had with his brother went off as he blew it.

"Gosh darnit" he said and turned off the pager.

He made the wall again and imagined a curtain. Again he lifted his hand, blew the sand, and he saw ripples appear as the sand hit the force "curtain".

"Thats kind of interesting."

ooc: Marcus is already helping me and hopefully it will work.

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled and nodded approvingly.

"Very good......now, what was that all about? Your somm link? If it's important, you can take it.....I don't mind."

She said with a gentle smile.

" Naw, my brother can wait. If it was important he would have come here on his own."

ooc: What do you mean my custom title. i see nothing.

Xazor nodded and smiled.

"Well then.....that is fine. Where were we......"

She thought to herself, recalling where she wanted to go with the training next.

"Oh yes.....now, I want you to pick up some sand as before and imagine millions of butterflies in your mind.....then blow the sand into the air.....and create them. This is another useful illusion, believe it or not."

She smiled and motioned for him to try.

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay did as he was told and picked up the sand. He imagained millions of butterflys. Ones that look like the ones on Onderon in the Outland forests. He then blew the sand and imagaied each grain of sand was a butterfly and that is exactly what happened. Each grain turned into a butterfly and fluttered off, till he lost concentration and the grains fell to the ground as if they never had been butterflys at all.

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled and nodded.

"Very nicely done....."

She said with a smile. She applauded lightly for him before continuing.

"Now....see that fountain over there? There is water running down into a cool stream. This is not really an illusion or anything....but something that will help you. Go over there and place your hands in the water, and with your mind, try to see which aspect of heat and cool you can control. I control coolness and have the ability to make water cold, or freeze it, not matter what its previous temperature was. My brother is just the opposite, he controls heat and can even create fireballs. Now.....go over there and try it."

She said with a smile, nodding towards the man made waterfall and stream.

Clay went over to the fountian and focuse through the force the temperature aspect of things. He focuse on making the water cold, but he had no succes. He couldn't really imagine the water cold or even feel coolness in his body. So he tried to making the water boiling hot. He imagined a pot of water over a fire and through the force the water became about 300 or so degrees.

[Xazor]

Xazor walked over to her padawan and glanced at the water. She didn't need to touch it to feel the heat through the Force. It was very hot indeed.

"Well, you have the natural gift of controlling Heat!"

She said with a smile. She then motioned for him to follow her to the center of the room.

"Now......you have learned a great many things since training began. Now you must learn real life situations. We shall begin to spar, hand to hand first and then move into saber fighting. I know you're ready....."

She said with a smile.


ooc: Oooooooooh!! Very awesome sig!

Clay readied himself and awaited his masters next command.

"Ready when you are."

[Clay Dennatta]

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled and nodded.

"Good.....you may have the first attack then....."

She said, drawing her saber from her belt. She ran her finger over a button and two blue beams shot forth from the hilt with a hissing sound. She held it at waist level, parallel to the ground and motioned for him to begin.

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay took his saber of his hip and using the force pushed a button inside and out of the two ends came forth silver blades of light. He lifted his saber to a ready position and began to fight. He attacked a few timew and his advances were blocked, but after the fourth attack he kicked her in the stomach and she stumbled backwards a moment and Clay put himself in a ready position again.

[Xazor]

Quickly regaining her footing, Xazor took off after Clay. She faked a cut across his stomach and jumped over his head. Quickly pressing a button, her saber became a single blade, allowing her to slam the hilt into the base of his neck. His knees bent in pain and she ran around the front of him, igniting the other side of her saber. As he fell forward, she kicked him in the face, and he fell backwards. She then held her saber in ready defense position and waited for him to regain his footing.....

Clay regained his footing and imediately attacked again. He faked a jab with his saber then fell to a knee and kicked her legs. As she was falling to the ground he jumped up and landed a knee right in her ribs. Then he himself got up and waited for her to get up.......

[Xazor]

Xazor nodded and smiled slyly.

"Good......."

Suddenly she ran away and headed toward the large doors of the academy. She placed her hand on the door and it hissed open, then she was gone in a flash. She continued running toward the edge of a cliff that backed up to the jungle. She waited to see if her padawan would follow.......

Clay was right behind her the whole time but kept a distance to see what her next move was. As soon as he got the cliff he wasted no time in attacking again. Using the force he removed four screws from the middle of his saber and moved them to his pocket while attacking. Next he removed the two halves apart and now had two sabers. He attacked and attacked and all his attacks her either being blocked or dodged till he got the upper hand and was able to flip over her and land with one saber inches from her neck and he turned of his other saber and put it in her back.....

[Xazor]

ooc: Don't be too good now.....you're still a padawan remember.......

Xazor did a quick spinning crescent kick, knocking his saber away. Lucky for him, it fell away from the cliff's edge, instead of over it. With a grin, clipped her saber on her belt and ran towards the open space and jumped off of it. The fall was about one hundred feet down. There were vines and branches hanging from the tall trees and she grabbed onto two vines, drastically slowing herself down. Her hands burned, but she force the pain from her mind. After the length of those vines ran out, she swung to anothe pair and slid down them until she was about twenty five feet above the ground. She completely let go, but grabbed another vine about ten feet from the ground. Her hands were raw, but she would take care of it once on the ground. Finally she let go and fell into a shoulder roll. She had plenty of time to spare as Clay figured out how to get down, so she took out two large medicated wraps, and wrapped them around her hands, tieing them in back. It felt a lot better now, as she stood with her saber in defense.

ooc:Sorry i was just used to doing that when i was sith my bad. i'll remember that for the future.

ic:Clay picked up his saber and jumped off the cliff. He free fell for 25 feet before grabing on to the vines and slising down from one vine to the other. It hurt alot but using the force he forced the pain away though it still remained a little. As soon as he was near the bottom he dropped down to the trees and jumped from tree branch to tree branch till he was on the ground about 50 feet away from Xazor. He didn't have time to wrap his hands as he saw his master did so he just took both his sabers up and got ready......

Xazor ran at her padawan and lept up into the air. Extending her foot, she landed a solid side thrust kick into his chest, sending him back a yard or so. As he fell, she contructed a Force wall, and he fell over it. She heard a slight crunch and assumed that he probably cracked a rip, or badly bruised one. It was not a hard enough fall for any of them to break. In her heart she felt compassion for him.....hoping he was okay, but she had to keep going in this manner.....for a Sith would not be so kind.

ooc: Yep Sith would be nor where near nice. I wasn't.

ic: Clay got up and help one of his ribs on his right side. He focuesed and beagan to heal why he continuted to fight. It would take a while but at least it would heal. He charged at his master and side stepped as she tryed to hit him with her saber, then he kicked her in her side and flew her to the side a few yards. Then he force grabbed her and made her stand up......

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled as she was pulled up. She then called on the Force and grabbed onto several vines with her mind. She made them wrap and twist themselves around Clay, making his arms stuck to his sides. This would be nearly impossible to escape on his own. She smiled and stood in a defensive stance, wondering what he would do.....

[Clay Dennatta]

Using the force Clay Levitated his two sabers, lite the, and started to cut the vines off. It took a little bit but they were all cut off without one accidental cut on Clay. He then put himself in a defensive position and waited to see what his master was going to do next.....

[Xazor]

He had done very well and overcame the vines. She smiled and ran at him, appearing as though she would head-butt him into next week. Suddenly, she was gone! She had used the Force to propell herself up into the tree next to them. Now she climbed it's large brances, awaiting to see if he too could use his Force jump.

[Clay Dennatta]

Clay figured she must have imagined jumping that high then did it. So he tried he imagined a large jump to the branches, then he did jump and he almost made it above the branch but not quite. So he gabbed onto the branch andpullued himself up. Then he jumped from branch to branch following his master.....

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled as she became aware that Clay had made it into the trees. Moving swiftly through the branches, she reached a large patch of trees and hid herself in them, continuing to move through the jungle. Finally she reached some temple ruins and stopped, jumping from the tree to land a few feet below on an ancient platform. She held her saber in her hand and ran inside the dark building, waiting to see if Clay could follow.

Clay saw her run into the building and as soon as he got to the platform he ran right in. It was very dark and humid. They looked to be thousands of years old. He tracked his master using the force so he could feel where she was at all times. But tracking her didn't help in finding his way around the maze like ruins. After taking many wrong turns he finnaly met up with her in a big room light with torches. He redied himself for the up coming spar.....

[Xazor]

The room was dimly lit with torches, and there were still many shadows lining the walls. She fell into them and bathed herself in the Force, cloaking her presence so he could no longer see or sense her. She snuck up on him carefully. Her saber had been deactivated so he could not see the blade. Suddenly, she slammed the hilt into the base of his neck, sending him to his knees. She spun around quickly and kneed him in the face as he feel. Activating her saber, she revealed her signature in the Force and smiled, waiting for him to rise and continue this great spar.
