How fast does it go through a clip?

Not very, the fire rate is about 8 rounds/second, so emptying an entire clip takes 5 seconds, compared to 2 for a modern day MP5 (15r rounds/second).

Is it strong enough to penatrate light armor? or body armor?

It'll go through standard concrete block with about 200 m/sec. left over
Muzzle velocity on the AR is fairly extreme, about 1000 m/sec, hence the lower firing rate.
In other words, it'll go through most armor like swiss cheese, and the three round burst mode will screw over a personal sheild user quite easily. 1st round gets eaten by the sheild, 2nd overloads it, and the third pounds home.
As a result of being magnetic, its also recoiless, except for the shift in weight (only 3.5 grams lost).
The optical scope can be removed and replaced for special applications, IE an infared or nightvision optics, and only takes 10 seconds to remove.
West himself carries a variant of the AR mk1, the AR-S. It lacks the 250 shot under blaster, but makes up for it with an even more extreme 1400 m/sec muzzle velocity, making it a genuine threat against armored vehicles.

I was wondering.. what has the bullpup design on some rifels for? longer range or something?

More barrell in smaller package, basically. The Styer AUG and the FAMAS is much shorter and somewhat lighter than the M4, AK 47, and H&K G36. Most of this is attributable to the bulpup design.
The longer barrel gives you greater accuracy, as a rule.
In other words: yes.

If it's in production, I'll take a couple!

Its in production, but they are only assigned on mission, with exception to commissioned NRSF units.
If you need one, have offiliation with the NRSF, and we think it suits your mission, we'll issue one. These are supposed to be extremely rare weapons, and have a good deal of classified security features.

Impressive weapon.
No weapon as my trusty walking cane though. :)
