[GJO Issue] Fett, DT, And the Council.

Alright, we've all seen the effects of various confrontations between two of the people looked upon frequently as leaders of the GJO, ReaperFett and Darth Turbogeek.

And quite frankly, I'm sick of watching it continue. I'm not sure what I can do, or even what could be done, but I'm going to spill some thoughts.

At one point I happen to remember that the GJO was run not by any individual, or in fact any formal council, but by those with experiance and concern for the order. All Knights and masters had a voice that carried weight on issues. I liked it that way, things got done more rapidly, and more clearly.

True, with the greatly enlarged council, a similar thing happens... and yet, if you look, those of us not on the council still have our say on issues even now, just because our views are just as valid as anyone others.

Sooo. What's the point of all this?

We need to step back and look at things, see our roots, realise that we're getting caught up with ourselves, with minor issues.

Am I the best to make this point? Likely not. But, non the less, we need to step forward and deal with this issue.

And no, gagging both Fett and DT is not an option.

actually, gagging Fett is an option. Im not GJO. Im here until someone taes me out the room and locks the door. You think the GJO will benefit from that, be my guest, I have my own keys.

Sorry if during the time where basically 90% of SWFans is giving at least some blame of the state of the place to the Jedi, I go and start pushing things. You want change, you change stuff

The fact you have your own keys is one of the reasons that gagging either you or DT is a pointless endevor.

Not to mention it's much better to deal with an issue, rather than simply sweep it aside.

I can throw the keys through the window. Admins can do oodles of stuff to themselves. And it does deal with the situation. Your either part of the problem or part of the solution, else your just part of the scenery. The non-GJO guy is most likly the problem over the solution, and he certainly isnt the scenery

I'll tell you why this topic should never have been started like this.

I have the perception I have been unjustly insulted.

So I will not reply except by saying I cleaned up Navaria's promotion thread and as I cant be polite in reply, I will close this thread once again to restrain any temptation to post more.

If you have an issue with this, you know what my AIM is.

I would advise not trying to revisit this for the moment in the open. A lot of people know I can be very resonable and when I'm thinking calm I will be resonable esecially given some time to think - but not when my temper is up. Please dont revisit until I've calmed down and I'm rational
