I just want to apologize & explain what is going on w/me

I know I have not been around a lot for a bit. Real life at times had made it difficult especially around the holidays. But now I am really trying to devote more time to becoming an active member.

I just want you all to be aware that I still might have my moments (especially on the weekends that I can't post).

My dad has been suffering a bit w/back problems. He was diagnosised w/spinalsonsis (spelling?). Anyway...he's been in to see surgeons and had MRIs done. He will be following up with the surgeon on Feb 18 to see from the MRI he just had if he needs surgery.

I am afraid and it is almost definite he will need spinal surgery. This concerns me a lot. But my dad has been suffering all the same. :( Even though the thought of surgery scares me to death..it is probably the best thing for him and he has no choice.

So, I just figure I let you know..why I am preoccuppied at times.

Jas (Obi) has known this for awhile, for obvious reasons. I thought I fill the rest of you in too.

Thank you all so much! You are all such good friends and I appreciate your prayers.

Like I said I am nervous about the 18th and I try not to show that to my dad. He will more than likely need the surgery, he just can't go on this way. My mom and I are concerned about recovery and all. We don't know the procedures. That is what the consulation on the 18th is for. I will keep you all posted about this.

I just wanted you guys to really know and I do miss you all. I consider you my family too. I will definetly post when I can.
