Xazor
Mar 10th, 2002, 07:29:46 PM
Xazor walked into the Council Room after being permitted to enter. She was escorting a dark figure in front of her. She held his right arm behind his back and twisted it as she held one end of his duel phased red saber at his neck. He grunted slightly as his dark eyes darted from council member to member. Once in the center of the room, she eased up on him a bit. Bowing her head, she looked up at the council.

Great Jedi.......I wish for justice to be bestowed upon this man. His name is Xander Kama.......and he was my Sith Master. He came here and attacked me, threatening to take my life and the lives of those closest to me. Though, with the help of my brother, Master......and beloved, he did not succeed, but fell into my hands. Now I bring him before you and ask your wisdom on this case.......

She said with pleading eyes. She had forgiven Kama to his face and there was no anger or malice for him in her heart. She did not wish for him to die......but something had to be done to right what was wrong. She only wished that the light would touch his dark soul.......somehow. She bowed her head again and waited for their answer.

A figure walked forward from the shadows. It was a familiar figure, but those that knew him before could sense a change. He was purer, stronger. He had been cleansed through the Force. It was remarkable. How could someone be the same and yet be so different, but none of this mattered now. He walked towards Xazor and laid a hand on her shoulder.

"It seems you have found your little escape artist. That's good."

Morgan stared hard at the man for a good long while, like the rest of the council, all thoroughly studying him.

Abrubtly he grinned.

"I think that my sense of irony is overriding my sense of judgement. Maybe another council member will have a suitable idea."

:: AB studied the man before speaking. ::

Before any judgment can be passed, what has the one accussed have to say for his defense?

Satine steps out of the shadows--semingly out of nowhere, as he was using his abilities to blend in--and walks over to Xazor's other side.

You don't mind if I'm here, do you sis? Satine asks, smiling at Xazor.

Xazor felt the familiar hand of her beloved on her shoulder. His aura was brighter and his presence was filled with joy.

Greetings my love..it has been so long.

She said through the Force, trying to listen to what the council was saying. Then Alpha came out of the shadows.

Thank you brother......you are welcome to join me.

She said quietly under her breath. Then hearing that the council wished for Kama to speak, she looked at the ground. She didn't want to hear his words....but she had to.

I see that I have done nothing wrong.......the girl here ran away from me and my teaching to become a weak Jedi.....it is she that is at fault.

Kama spoke in low tones, every word piercing her soul. She tightened her grip on his arm and held the saber closer to his neck.

She is not a true Jedi.....look at her, she's so full of hate....

Xazor shook her head, not letting anger get the best of her.

Silence to you....

She said and her voice echoed through the room.

Forgive my behavior, wise Council.

She said, bowing her head slightly and then looking back up into their faces.

Even now, you are unrepentant.

:: Anbira's grave voice spoke from his council seat, the grey-haired man staring with piercing grey eyes as she steepled his fingers together ::

I pardon repentance. Evil left unashamed is evil best destroyed. Your corruption is a dark testament, and speaks against your life now.

Xazor kept quiet during the council's ruling. She didn't wish to hold him there any longer. It almost felt as though he was dispelling his own darkness into her. She fought back his tricks with the Force and stood strong in it. She closed her eyes and lowered her head as she stood there.......wishing it would all be over soon.

"Xazor, if you are uncomfortable, you may go." Morgan spoke softly. She had done her part, and if he was trying to twist her spirit, it might be more difficult if Xazor was not feeling that she was under the scrutiny of both him and the Jedi.

He continued to consider the man, and his actions, and his continued lack of regret for his doings.

"The simplest solution would be to toss him out an airlock, but I don't get the impression that its right or fitting."

:: A corner of AB's lips curled upward. Even in the gravest of circumstances, she was greatful for the comradere and humor within the Council. It was true part of her wished they could just toss him out an airlock, but she knew that would not be the way of a Jedi. Not unless it was a last resort and in self defense, of course. ::

:: She eyed the accussed before them, taking into account what the others had said. ::

You stand accussed of threatening the lives of your former Padawan and others, yet you still do not repent on this. A Jedi would not turn on his fellow Jedi unless there was a grave reason. "Running away" is not a grave reason.

And in your defense, all you stated was that she was wrong and you were right. She is not the one on trial here... you are.

I have, as of yet, heard nothing to convince me of your repentance for threatening the lives of others.

:: She paused for a moment, remembering some more words he had just said. She shifted in her seat, creasing her brow in a frown. ::

One thing I do not understand... you said, "...the girl here ran away from me and my teaching to become a weak Jedi." Why did you say, "...teaching to become a weak Jedi"?

Shade stood back, out of the way. He had been through his own trails and now it was time for Xazor's. He would support her, but he would not interfer just as she had not interferred in his own trails.

Falcon had, as ever, been acting as the quiet observer he was. If you weren't looking for him, chances are you would have no idea he was there.

Past shadows return, I see. Justice is finally being brought into play for this young lady. I can see the common grounds she has with Natia now.

He did not figdet... his breathing a result of many years of calming technique. He just watched..quietly.

I am a Sith Lord and Master. I am emperor on the planet of Cysaria! I was teaching her in the dark arts, until she ran away from me. What kind of a person is she and how could the Jedi accept her?

The Sith Lord's words echoed through the room. Xazor dropped her head and sighed. He would not give up the fight.....not even now.

I shall be fine, Master Evanar. Thank you......

She said softly. Suddenly the Sith Master pushed her backwards with his arm and the Force. She hit the floor pretty hard and rose quickly, blocking the pain from her mind. She still had his saber in her hand and stood in a defensive stance facing him.

Please, do not hurt me anymore.........

She said, a tear falling from her pleading eyes and kissing the ground below her feet. She glanced around at the council for help. I told everyone this would happen....... She thought in the back of her mind as she stood with his duel phased saber in front of her, parallel to the ground and ready to use in defense in case he made a sudden move.

Satine watches as Xazor gets pushed, and his hand automatically goes to his weapons belt, coming up empty. Silently he cursed leaving his weapons outside, and then sees Xazor pretty much had it handled.

"You ok sis?"

Xazor
Mar 12th, 2002, 10:40:56 PM
I don't know what to do! I can't do anything in this sacred place.....though he is pretty much disrupting that right now! I can't just stand here, he's going to start playing those mind games.......I can already feel it.

She relayed to Alpha through the Force. She didn't take her eyes off the Sith as he glared at her. She regretted every decision she had ever made up until this point. She just wanted to die right now, before he had the chance to kill her.........

Satine Capashen
Mar 12th, 2002, 10:52:28 PM
Satine senses Xazor's train of thoughts, and gives her the equivalent to a slap in the Face with the Force.

We've been through this before sister, Satine sends back, his tone sharp and serious. Remorse is of the darkside. But if he really is bothering you...

Satine, quicker than the eye, leaps at Kama, hitting him with a well placed blow to the temple, and knocking him unconcious.

"That should keep him quiet for a while..."

Xazor
Mar 12th, 2002, 10:57:13 PM
Xazor sighed with heavy relief as she looked stunned into the eyes of her brother.

I am sorry for that.......show of exactly why I brought him here. That was an interruption and a waste of your time. I ask your forgiveness........

Xazor said, straitening up and bowing slightly. She didn't know why, but she somehow felt responsible for his actions.......and she felt badly for this. She didn't think this was a great way to show herself for the first time to the council.........but something had to be done about Kama. She looked at the ground and disengaged his saber, clipping it to the right side of her belt where there was a free space. She remained quiet after that, as she waited for any of them to speak. It seemed like the moment was hung in time, like there was no ending to it. Her face stung slighly from the "Force slap" but she knew it was for her own good.

"It's ok Xazor. You don't need to ask me for forgiveness. I've done much worse in my short lifespan. But now, what does the council say on this hutt-trash?"

Xazor
Mar 12th, 2002, 11:24:26 PM
Xazor didn't say anything. She did not wish to anger the Council or make them think less of her. She was not quite sure where she stood with them now. She sighed and shifted her weight nervously as she looked at the ground. Kama laid still and silently and Xazor wished he would have just let her go in peace when she had left in the first place. Her eyes slowly shifted from the floor to the faces of the Council members.

:: AB had not moved, even when Kama had pushed Xazor. He would be foolish to try any more in a room full of Jedi Masters. Even so, she was greatful when Satine had gotten the jump on him. Though knocking him out might have been a bit ill-thought. ::

:: She regarded Xazor, her gaze piercing though gentle. ::

Xazor... it is clear to this Council that there is turmoil inside of you. If you do not speak of these turmoils, they will bottle up inside you to later emerge. Though that emergance could end with dire consiquences.

It is apparent Kama is a typical Sith. Arrogant and full of hate. But it is not so with you. You may have learned some things under him, but then you turned from that path.

:: She leaned forward, steepling her fingers together. ::

You have to be honest with us on what you are feeling right now. We can see what you are feeling, of course, but it is best if we hear it from you.

Xazor
Mar 13th, 2002, 07:55:51 PM
Xazor nodded and bowed slightly to the Council.

Great Jedi Masters.........I feel no hate for this man. He taught me the way of the darkside, but I have turned from that. I have learned a great many lessons here.........but the one that I shall remember most is a lesson my Master taught me about anger. No longer does anger rule in my soul...only peace. I wish for justice to be brought upon this man.....but not death, though he deserves nothing less.....I honestly do not know....in my heart, I wonder sometimes if I did the right thing by coming here.....but then I smile to myself as I think of all the great things I am doing now. I am grateful for who I have become....

She said with confidence and a smile to back it.
