OOC--Why Lori and I haven't been around

Hey guys and gals! I know, I know...we kept saying we'd be back and poof...we disappeared. I think most if not all of you know about Lori's dad. He's having surgery on the 28th...and also her computer is completely messed up right now. She took it into Best Buy to get it fixed and has been without it for 2 and a half weeks now. I was talking with her today on the phone (as always ;) ) and she did want me to post to let everyone know what was going on. Everything's fine, but she hasn't been able to get online.

Also, Lori wanted me to let you all know that she wishes to step down from the Council. She simply feels as though she doesn't deserve the position since she hasn't been able to be around.

As for me, of course Lori is always number one on my list. Sorry but it's the truth ;) And then college life has been keeping me busy as well

Anyway, that's the scoop as of late. Sorry I haven't been around, everyone, but it's like there just aren't enough hours in the day, unfortunately.

Hope everyone's doing well though and I will try to stop by when I can!!!

*sigh* :( No such luck yet...I managed to get on a library computer, so here I am writing you all.

What Jas has said is unfortunately true. My disk drive went "poof" and I was told it could take 4 weeks. :( Needless to say I am not happy! I have to give them a buzz. Anyhow...about my dad..yes he is schedule for surgery March 28 right before Easter. What a way to spend it. Then with rehab and all he will have to be in the hospital for a total of four weeks. Its going to be rough. I am praying it will all go well. I will leave it with my faith and god now.

Marcus I just feel I would do a great dishonor to be on the council when I am not here. It would not be right. I don't know when I will get my computer back and such. :( *sigh* Besides there are so many more "younger" ;) and wise jedi that should have a chance and we do this position a great honor. Thank you all for understanding, sorry for not letting you know sooner.

Btw: They're basically lying. It should take 2-3 hours to do a data recovery and OS installation. If the drive is bad, a week and a half.
