Council Request

I enter the Council Room, before the Jedi who sit at Council and the others that also habit this chamber...

"My fellow Jedi, I have a request of you. I have been here a few months and I did not wish to take a rank as I did not believe it was appropriate.

However, I wish to participate more fully. I would like to take learners of my own and I wish to train others in the Warroir ways. I have started this with Xazor Dawnstrider, but that has been informal. I now wish to make this formal and to have the Council's blessing.

Even if I do not believe in ranks, to just say Jedi for myself is abnormal and does not fit with what is here. I ask the Council to decide what ranking I should have so I formalise my ties to this Council and serve it better. I will accept this Council decision as final, even if it says I must be Padawan - although I will point out I know the Jedi ways better than some Masters and I am more skilled than most. "

I bowed and waited for the Council to speak.

This is a great day for the Jedi Order. Elieen Cross aka Helenias Q'Dunn, formerly known as Lord Fire Blade, the legendary warrior that destroyed our precious Temple at Coruscant many years ago has fully joined our forces in the eternal quest to battle evil and injustice. We trembled in fear back then.. now we celebrate as our chances to defeat the armies of evil scum and villainy just increased and the battle of dark and evil just might be tipped in our favor.

Who can match her skills in battle? Her heart and courage? I say few if any can, because she is more than capable to beat any of us in battle. Her experience, her knowledge and insight of the Force is equals any Jedi Master we have. She is more than qualified to teach our students the finer aspects of Jedi and combat arts. I therefore request the Council to grant her a rank no less than Jedi Knight. Personally, I would have love to see her given the rank of Jedi Master, although due to tradition and procedure that might still have to wait for a while.

If I may have a small word...

I may not be on the council, and I may not be the most active RPer in the world, but my lurking has afforded me an honest view of our order. What it has shown me is that, time and time again, Helenias has shown compassion, mercy, and especially honor. These things speak highly of her, and I believe that it would be a mistake to give her any less of a rank than Knight.

Even though I am no longer on the council...Helenias should definetly be granted Jedi Knight status..IMO!

"She should be granted Knighthood without a doubt. To say otherwise would be a foolish statement."

She has 6 out of 8 votes saying YES to Jedi Knight Status. And may I add the only reason 2 votes are missing is Nichos and Akrabbim have not been here.

I say...she has JEDI KNIGHT Status!

Besides this is not only a council discission. Knighthood is usually voted by all..and lots of knights and masters have voted in her favor too
