Ok, go into your CP (Control Panel), click on EDIT OPTIONS, then scroll down a bit until you come across the option that reads "Use 'Email Notification' by default?". Check NO on the right hand side. :)

You might also wanna check NO for "Send you an email when you receive a Private Message?" if ya want to. :)
