Alrighty, the ability to create polls has been added to all those forum. You won’t see an add poll button next to the new topic button though, because a poll is created with the New Topic button. You open the screen to start a new topic just like normal and then when you have filled in what you want the subject to say and your first post to be you scroll down and check the “Yes! Post a poll” checkbox, selecting how many options (answers) you want to include in your poll.

The checkbox is located just above the “Submit New Thread” button. With that box and the number of options filled in you “Submit New Thread” and are taken to the next screen where you set up the poll options. :)
