Del had a daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Del today gave birth to a daughter. born 7.05pm (local time), weighs 7 lbs and is 2 ft.

She said to tell everyone so this is the best place, might be pictures tomorrow too.

Oh my.... I never expected all this!

Well, thank you to everyone here. When Jedah told me there was an avalanche of people congratulating me, I couldn't quite believe it and had to hurry to get out of hospital to see for myself... lol...

We just got out yesterday, and everything's fine with both of us. Little Nya seems to have settled in alright into her new home - she's asleep next to me (I think the keyboard noise is something soothing to her, considering how much she heard it while I was still pregnant). She's a very quiet child, and seems to have no end of patience - instead of crying when she wants something, she just waits or goes back to sleep until someone comes to her.

I'll have some pictures of her, too, to post here, but I have to wait to get them developed first. I hadn't intended to post without them but when I saw all of you congratulating me, I had to post straightaway to thank you all. And leave a big hug and an even greater Thanks for a few of my friends around here who have been a great help and a big support through these last months, without whom I think I wouldn't have known what to do at times.... thank you guys (you know who you are).

Ahhh... something smells... I think she needs a nappy-change...
