Responds to over 40 voice commands. Navigates, patrols, and finds you on it's own. Plays multiple interactive games. Sentry room alarm. Responds to names of Star Wars characters. Includes light beam, utility arm, and special "secret" features. Plays six different songs as well as Princess Leia's distress call. Can plot and navigate course of 20 stored commands. Stands over 15" tall.

I've seen one of those before, but it didn't look much like R2. I guess it only made sense for them to model it like one, though.

This little puppy (http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/catalog/productview.jhtml?pid=26748600&pcatid=2&catid=201) is very similar to the R2 one you posted above, and will run you about $700. I'm hoping it does a lot more than our little domed friend, for that price.

I'm pretty sure it does. But Artoo doesn't really need to be that sophisticated, just robotically do the things that were sent to it through a remote control 25 years ago.

bah, 15" tall, comparitvly too small for that price, ill buy that doggie though!
