I think there may have been some backbone problems either last night or this morning. Myself and several other people I have spoken to have had similar problems to this which cleared themselves up shortly thereafter.

Okay well, can someone tell me what happened in Manhattan today? I can read the headline "Explosion in Manhattan" and that there are over 40 injured, but the server isn't letting me read the story!

I was in exactly the same boat as you until a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was some sort of technical term at the end of certain words, ie. Robert Jones PHD. Similarly, I thought it was the same thing for Oxford University IIRC. :)
