To truly customize, you'll need your own images directory. It doesn't even have to be on the swforums host, just need one that has all the basic vB elements, which you can modify and or replace to your heart's content.

Actually, about image hosting, my current host at thegjo.com allows me 4 GB of bandwidth (currently using only a small fraction of that), so it would probably be a good idea keeping the images hosted there anyway. Saves swfans the bandwidth and space. :)

Morgan got FTP access there, so he could upload/change whenever necessary.

Ok, uploaded the images to the server, they can all be located in <a href=http://www.thegjo.com/forum/vbb/>this directory</a>. I removed index html for easy/efficient locating of the files. Just click on the file you wish the URL for, and copy/paste the URL from the browser address field. :)

I won't need to get into the directory myself, so you can have or not have index.html as far as it matters to me.

All I have to do is set a replacement variable up with the path to the images directory and vBulletin does the rest. That means that if you wish to change a default vBulletin image, the simplist way to do it is to change one of those with a standard name to a non standard image. :)

EDIT: Replacement variable changed. Note that the profile, buddy, pm, and similar images are all now being loaded from your host. :)

I made just a few cosmetic changes to make this more similar to the GJO forums. If there is anything you need done to the templates or layout, let me know and I'll see what I can manage.

A humble suggestion, if I may? I think this place looks better with fewer contrasting colors. I think the "Current Council" text should be shades of blue, so as to fit in better.
