Put that effing comic down Dizzy! It's not worth it! Give it to someone else for safe keeping for another month!

dizzy, "Unlearn what...blah blah", it's probably too late. He's done for. I don't know how I'm going to stay spoiler free also. There are going to be fanboys spilling plot details at SW2 left and right. That's a lot of butt to kick for just one convention. Luckily buff will be nearby.

Jedi Master Carr

yeah Buff will defend you Jedieb, I can sense it.

*Shakes head sadly.*

So many are falling to the Spoiler Side. :(

I must admit, that I have downloaded the full soundtrack, but I love John William's music in general and was going to listen to the soundtrack when it was released anyways.

But to read the script and all those other things, no. I will not fall. I will NEVER fall!! I shall remain true to the Spoiler-free Side!!!!!!!

JMK
Apr 17th, 2002, 01:51:16 PM
I can feel it too, I'm not going to crack this time around. I wouldn't consider listening to the soundtrack much of a spoiler, but reading the song titles would be. But you're 100% right Lady Vader, us spoiler-free folk are slowly going to way of the buffalo...

Jinn Fizz
Apr 17th, 2002, 02:09:39 PM
I'm doing my best to remain spoiler-free, and in general I'm accomplishing it.

All I know is, it seems like dizzy is the type who as a kid must've loved opening not only his own Christmas presents early but also everyone else's and then telling them what they were getting! :lol

Um, does this mean the LucasFilm Death Star is gonna come and blow us up? :\

Charley
Apr 17th, 2002, 02:46:20 PM
Being as that is unofficial and unconfirmed, I think it is okay...

JMK
Apr 17th, 2002, 02:47:37 PM
Jinn Fizz, from the sound of it, it looks like you've had some experience in that area too!

Lady Vader, yes, Lucas' death star is on its way, but they're going to set it to low and burn the retinas of the sinners! >D

Lady Vader

I'd say I'm probably about 50% spoiled... I know a few things I wish I didn't know, but I don't think I'm entirely spoiled on the movie - I'm sure there will be a few surprises out there for me... And as for the soundtrack, I will definitely get that and listen to it first - I don't think that will spoil anything too much for me.

I just wish all those who have fallen to the Spoiler Dark Side wouldn't tempt all the rest of us so much... Its all I can do to not highlight all of the spoiler tags in this and other threads that are popping up now.

Only 28 days and a few hours to go - I hope I make it...

Well, you can always pack your things and head for the hills. If you can get net access from the trees, view the spoilers. It's a sign from God!

I haven't given in so far recently, and I am not reading the book until after the movie, I will buy it but put it away in safe location.

Live Wire
Apr 17th, 2002, 07:43:35 PM
see this is the problem! You people purchase the books and then expect them not to tempt you! Purchase the book after you leave the theatre!!!!

Jedi Master Carr
Apr 17th, 2002, 08:47:22 PM
I bought TPM and never read it until after I saw the movie, I don't get tempted too, easy. I am debeating about the comics though I am thinking of getting my local comic book store to hold them for me until after the movie comes out because those are so much easier to read.

I was sorely tempted by the graphic novel. But that temptation is gone, and I have passed my trial. Sort of like Galadriel.

Im avoiding all bookstores physical and online....its too tempting to even read the covers.

I went to the bookstore earlier... they were taking preorders for the AOTC novelization, so one can reserve a copy. I thought about it, but I decided just to wait. Once the film is out, I'll pick up the novelization.

So, that could be called a bit of a "temptation trial", but I passed without too much trouble.

And, I've managed to avoid all of the spoiler text that has been posted around here over the past 48 hours, so I think I'll be fine. :)

Jedi Master Carr

I will still pick it up next week sometime, won't read it again until after the movie, I did a pretty good job at doing that 3 years ago so I think I can resist reading it again this time.
