Due to increased server load this website has been ordered to shut down and been given 24 hour notice of removal from the Internet. So sometime later this evening SWFans.Net on vBulletin here will cease to exist.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their contributions and let you all know that Shawn and myself will be doing all that we can to find a new home for this board as soon as possible. For the moment how about a minute of silence for our dearly departed forum?

This does raise some concerns, though. How much bandwidth is included in the swfans.net hosting package, and how much bandwidth is being used?

We have recently implemented server side page compression which should reduce our bandwidth usage drastically, but it was only in effect for about half of the month of March. I don't really have access to the bandwidth usage stats myself (not the monthly ones ~ at least not easily :x ~ doesn't want to break out the calculator and sift through tons of figures) but we have not gone over our usage allotted (20 GB a month) yet, as far as I know.
