Let me try to put this in perspective here. I copied and pasted that list of ships assigned to this invasion. It took up 22 pages in Word, totalling over 1,000 lines. Minus headers and section breaks, that's 900-some odd ships.

40% of TGE is invading one system. Do you honestly expect anyone to acknowledge this. Screw Arcan IV. What are you leaving abandonded to do this operation? My apologies to those who put so much into your very well-written posts. But come on.

I'm in tears. Thank you. I needed that.

OOC~ Garm ... PM next time still eventho I moved it to OOC where it belongs.

edit~ after discussing with le staff.... thred will stay and most likely moved to OOC fleet forum later. Incase TGE wants to reply and all that.

Silly me for not thinking that but of course, here OOC is my home not there :lol

My calculations match your own.

Who says we'll confine ourselves to one system at a time? :evil I seem to recall the phrase "sector-wide swath of destruction"

X-900=still a hell of a lot of ships
X being the total TGE fleet.

Hey, if you want to take this opportunity to restrict the NR to non-military RP's, as everyone else has done when they're in a bind, go right ahead. As it is, your objections seem to be non-relevant, hostile filibustering.

Please stop looking for an excuse not to fight. If you have a defense to prosecute, prosecute it.

And Garm, there was already a Re: Escorting service thread in here.

Garms post was in the IC thread in Roleplaying forum. He didn't post it here. I spilt the OOC topics and moved them here where they belong :)

If you guys want this moved to Fleet OOC I will or someone else.

Vis you are so DENSE.

How many times have I repeated the statement "I do not want to be forced into a fight I don't want."? What is so hard to grasp about these boards allegedly being a recreation, not an obligation?

If a 900-ship blast fest with no motivation is your idea of a good time ... leave me out. If someone else in the NR wants to acknowledge that farse, I'm not stopping them.

But I ask again ... what sectors have been abandonded so that you can divert 40% of your entire collective fleets to invade one sector? Those are the ones we would be more interested in since running to this battle would be simple suicide.

And what happened to the pretense of diplomacy from that earlier thread?

This is my last reply. I've acknowledged that joke of an "RP's" existence too much already. Again, if anyone else in NR wants this one, it's all yours.

Visc, I'll bother to fleet RP when you and most everyone else buy a clue about strategy.

If I cared, I'd be after about a third of the more sparsely defended planets right now.

Uh.. Like I'm having a roundtable on Saturday night so we can debate issues like these, so please both attend.

Debate? There isn't anything to debate about. Pulling 40% of your entire fleet and plopping it in one system is moronic.

I think the time has come to send his topic on its merry little way to the Fleet OOC forum.

Accutaly there is because unless people want to read about 6 forums about this stuff, they will not find out the whole story.
