Two weeks ago, I had a classic. A place I do client for, his home computer was coming up with IE "Page could not be displayed.... Al the time. Stepped him thro all the usuals, was there a network connection, could he ping, was there a proxy.... and I had to admit, I was beat. I had no idea why the damn thing ALWAYS displayed "Page could not be displayed" Told him to try a diferent page, etc. Email worked, so there wa sa connection, but the browser wasnt working???

Had to ask him to bring it in. Set this thing up and to my concernation, he was right.

Because his Home Page was set to "Page Could Not Be Displayed"

Grrrrr. WTF was he doing when I told him to try a different web site????
