This little program might be useful to some people. It scans your computer looking for spyware that may be hidden in other software. When I ran mine it found 2 instances of sypware. The program itself is only 840 kb, and is free ware. Where do you get this little scanning wonder?

No, you dont follow. I WANT adverts :)

Due to the current internet environment, ads are needed. So on some sites, I will go to the advert a couple of times

I actually need my Gator advertisements, because they power my DivX 5 codec.

Only cookies from ads.

I'm 100% paranoild - I scan everything, I have my laptop set for high security and another is that I run Opera - it stops all popups, plus you can configure what cookiees you aaccept and what URL's you can drop. Really nice, but doesnt format URL as well as IE

I just turn my active scripting off and problem solved. ^_^

That is a double edged sword. Disabling active scripting will keep you from being able to access some data-entry pages, or secure sites. For instance, ezboard's control panel won't work without active script.

Most people have cookies like crazy, but there are a few companies who accutaly install a program on your computer to see what websites you visit.

I'v been using Ad-ware to remove most of my spyware, you all should download it, it is worth it.
