I use Paint Shop Pro 7.0. Some people say Photoshop's better, but I prefer Paint Shop anyhow. So you should be set, LD. :)

Oh, I thought they were only up to 5.0 on Photoshop. My mistake. Of course, I still think the price is too much for the difference between Paint Shop and Photoshop. In the right hands, the progam doesn't matter much. :)

The wallpaper's coming along nicely. Although it's hard to find Trinity pics that can be "cut-out" well from the surroundings, so it can be used. But I'm trying. :) Also, on my ancient computer, loading a file with 800 x 600 dimensions and mulitiple layers is a pain. So it's like watching a popsickle melt, waiting for it to load after doing a task.... wait, did you want 800 x 600?.... Ooops, I think I may have made that mistake again. Of starting small instead of large, then shrinking to fit whatever demension's wanted. What setting do you use? Should it be bigger? And is jpg format okay?

Since this IS a sig gallery, here is my pathetic attempt at one, which reeks of nOOb-ness and a crying need for Photoshop....

An additional note of nOOb-ness: My *ahem* sig (if you can call it that, although it worked fine in places where folks didn't have these fancy-schmancy graphical sigs) doesn't show for me now that I've posted, although it showed in preview and I have my user controls set to view sigs. Is it something in the system or did I do something wrong (I always assume the latter to be true first)?

EDIT: Must have been the system 'cause I can see it now.

And now, here is my "sig". Mortals will probably not understand the complexity and artistic genious to be found in it, but I will try to clear your fogged minds enough to appreciate it.

The scripting written on the bottom of the image is of an ancient style that was invented by the people of Naboo. I say "the people", but what I really mean is probably only one or two people. An entire planetload of sentients is not usually able to come together and form a single sentance that they all could believe and hold fast to, much less an alphabet.

What the writing says is of no importance to you savages. Suffice to say it is pure genious and would make you laugh, cry, and shout praises of me if you could read it.

There are some other intriguing points I wish to touch upon, as well. There is a newly-created blaster hole in the bulkhead behind me, on the right. Many people probably overlook this and think I am just lazing around, tall and proud, for the holocam operator. In fact, I am in the midst of the deadliest mortal combat. It is difficult to tell this because of my unflappable calm, of course, but the blaster damage to the wall is unfortunately the only clue to the real goings-on that this picture contains.

In case anybody wondered, and I KNOW you DID, there were five hundred Barabel assassins trying to carry out the "dismantle on sight" instructions they had been given. You'll be pleased to know, no doubt, that they failed horribly and, in fact, all seem to have been killed themselves.

How curious.

I would ask how such a thing could have happened, but it would be another excerise in rhetoric and thus a waste of energy to type.

Canny biologicals will notice my name in the top left corner, with the inscription "Droid for hire" located directly underneath it. This is not mere decoration. It does, in fact, mean I am a droid for hire. I feel this is another important detail to my "sig" that is easily missed.
