I put in an application for an apartment today. :eek Hope I get it! I will be TOTALLY ALONE for the first time in my life! No roommates! No house full of ten kids!

Nothing but me and...well me. :D

No furniture either, but don't get technical with me!

Why'd she want some young thing that pees on the floor and drools everywhere? She'd prefer a puppy far more :)

Thanks! :eek I'm excited! But I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. I'm also in line for a promotion at work...exciting stuff!

And I'll be needing a pool boy, so I think I'll start taking applications now. ;)

I'm also going to get a cat, eventually. :p

(oh also, the company that I work for is hiring for an IT position, a UniDatabase Administrator, in case anyone knows what that is. I have a list of all the "must haves" if anyone wants to know. I'm still trying to find out where they posted it...)

:lol Its an AWESOME apartment. I can barely even hope that I'll get it!

And details for pool boy position are as follows:

(Applicants should meet these requirements to have the best chance at getting the position)

Pool boy should most definetly be male, and at least five foot ten inches tall. He should be willing to work long hours, and be able to give GOOD back/foot/etc rubs. High school graduation a MUST, college a plus. Intelligent conversationists, and rabid SW fans are welcome!

Also, there is a minimum attractiveness requirement, but that will have to be conducted in person. :p

:D

*Sees Gue impersonating a cat* This reminds me of a bad production of the musical CATS by Andrew Lloyd Webber!

And Fett...keep the roaches away from my apartment if/when I get it! :)

Oh, I see how it is. Well, that's ok. We'll just be down here in this nice weather. But there's always room for one more. (Pssst... besides, rent would be a helluva lot cheaper between four.) :p

But when you're alone, you can walk round in your boxers, singing loudly and skidding round like some schoolkid on a newly polished floor.

Doing that round a full house of kids might look odd :)

Girls? When y'all gonna come to Denver? YOU PROMISED! Anyway, how about we all meet half way in Vegas? That sounds fair to me.

Living alone: I do have a roommate. I have had various roommates since I was 17.

Advice: DON'T live with your friends. Best way to ruin a friendship. Although I am still friends with them all... but it sure made way for some nasty fights. You have no idea how people's version of cleanliness varies. And if you ever do live with someone, get their name on the lease and ALL of the bills, right along with yours, or your just asking to be screwed.

Anyway, I think being alone has it's good points. I mean for one, you can just bring random men home, LOL. :angel (Joking, that's bad, yet adventurous?)

No, I was bagging out Ricky Lake quite loudly and rudely in the lunch room (as the women in the office were for some reason addicted to that nonsense) and a young woman truly surprised us yobs by also slinging poodoo at Lake as well. That young lady was cool

The poetic thing was that a year later to the day, Ricky Lake had an epsiode titled "Ricky Lake bought us closer together"

I live in a house with my sister and her family which includes ten children ages 16-4 mons. There are two year old twins (today is their birthday! Happy Birthday Isaac and Elizabeth!) and I share a room with a 4 yr old, a 5 yr old and a 7 yr old. I have the bottom bunk of a bunk bed.

I have a sliver in the closet to hang things on, two shelves, and my amoire (sp?) and that is all my private storage area.

So, Rama, you ask why I want to be alone? I JUST WANT SOME ME TIME!

Is that so much to ask? And LV...once you guys start getting your feet underneath you, ask me again about the apartment. I still think it would be fun, and I'm not sure where I'll be ina year anyway. :p

And you can come up and visit me anytime you want. Downtown Portland is BEAUTIFUL.

And it snowed today. A lot. Latest recorded snowfall ever here. :p
