I hated ET. First movie I would have walked out of, except my mum wouldn't let me.

I felt exceptionally sad the first time I watched What Dreams May Come.

I know it's considered all good fun, but reflecting on it, I gotta admit I think that game is in really bad taste. Think about it, in 100 years time they make a film about September 11th and some time later a game comes out allowing you to be a director firing a cannon at the towers - if we make the comparison to a more modern day event, it isn't quite as funny then is it?

The Titanic was real people and a lot of people lost their lives that day.

One part of me does have to agree with you, Gav. However, I got the impression that the game was supposed to poke fun at the movie, not the historical event. That's why it has Leonardo DiCaprio and other stars roaming about it's deck.

I didn't think it was very much fun, anyway.

Yeah I know what you mean, I didn't want to sound petty but I'd like to think I'm not being so - but imagine if they made a film about Sep 11th and still poked fun at it in the same way as this, ending with the collapsing of the two towers, wouldn't be nice would it really?

Hang on, hang on. We avoid shooting Anthony Hopkins, only to let him sink? EH? :)

Naw, it's all about the Fox and the hound. that was a movie that always got to me. Or Of mice and men. that was another one

There's plenty of movies that do that to me, "What Dreams May Come" was one of many. I'm a big wimp. :)

I had so much fun with that lil game. I like the ending where the director of Titanic is swimming away and being chased by Jaws. So symbolic. :D

ET was once the highest grossing movie of all time(and may be again after the rerelease) and it was directed by Spileberg.....Thus my comment about ET.
