I recorded it on my PC TV tuner, and processed and optimized it as much as I could for you guys. You'll need the following to view it:
DivX 5.0 (http://www.divx.com/divx/index.php)
The 5.0 2.7 meg free version will suffice for playback of this file.
Ogg DS filters (http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm#filters)
200kb
Click on Ogg Vorbis Direct Show filter implementation, under filters.
It's a 25 meg, 640x272 file. You can view it in WMP, so long as you download the two above support files. If you don't download them, don't complain when it doesn't work.
Excuse the radio noise, it's a digital cable rip, but this is a local (analog) channel. Should be rectified when I get an HDTV tuner.

Enjoy.

I highly recommend you download the 10 meg DivX version, as it doesn't have any terrestial noise.

Considering it was immediately available for DL, why would you want this one?

I guess because you can download those to your hard drive rather than saving the target and having to download it every time you want to view it. Plus, from the official site, I can't make any new sigs unless I find some screen caps. Maybe there is a sneaky way to save it to your drive, but I don't know it.

we thought that the bonafide trailer would be unavailable due to high demand on the starwars.com server, hence my temp tv cap trailer.

Okay. Wasn't asking for a reason, just curious if you had some Uber quality beauty hidden away :)

The mpeg version I have for download is better. It's a fantastic rip.

Hgghhmmm...a fantastic rip it may be, but no match for the original! Tought you I have, the dangers of double compressing....

I now have an uber quality beauty hidden away. I coded a script in AviSynth to transcode the .mov file to DivX 5.0 at the original quality of the mov file (2x), but I included Global Motion Comp and B-Frames and light psychovisual enhancements, so I may have it beat as far as the mark one eyeball is concerned. 32.3 megs.
