Good grief and to think I was at one point all for the Euro! :eek

That's a worrying bit of news actually - to think a currency could cause impotency. Well I say "Rule Britannia" because I'm sticking with the pound. To be hoonest though Fett, I can't see it happening and if it does, it wont be for a long, long time if you ask me. But I might just be being optamistic.

I'm more patriotic than I used to be and the thing I like about Britain is tradition, and the pound is strong enough on its own - for the time being.

Well, the Euro is hardly a strong currency, is it? :)

Darth Viscera: why do europeans have their own currency?
SmarterChild: I really have no idea...
Darth Viscera: look at me! I'm european! :-P
SmarterChild: Are you?
Darth Viscera: quiet, i'm making a joke
SmarterChild: Are you?
Darth Viscera: bah, idiot
SmarterChild: You're an idiot, you say?
Darth Viscera: oh, do shut up!
SmarterChild: That's not a very nice thing to say.

GAh!

* makes a note never to use the Euro *

But really though, the Euro isn't that bad, it's more then the canadian dollar (1 is about 1.40 or so cnd), which puts it about .80 for 1 USD, at least using the rates for a few days ago. Mind you it's still not as much as the pound, but still, a big step up for most of those 12 countries
