Neimodians Question

I vaguely remembered hearing that the Neimodians were not supposed to look like they actually did in Ep. I If I remember correctly, they were supposed to be CG and not played by actors, but obviously that is not the case. Also I thought they were supposed to look a lot like battle droids, because they were supposed to have created those in their own image

Can anyone confirm this? If that is true, why did G.L. change his mind? This isn't all that important, but I was thinking about it the other day and couldn't remember what I had heard on the subject.

BTW - I don't think it was really necessary to put the above in spoiler text, but just in case?

From what I read the battle droids resemble the nemodian skeleton that is what I read in a few insider books have no idea if its true or not.

I dont remember where I haerd it - but I heard that the battle droids were actually supposed to resemble the creatures that made them, not the creatures that used them (if they are two different races).

Probably wrong, but I seem to remember that from somewhere....
