I like A Simple Plan because it was so subdued until it needed the punches for impact... For the Love of the Game is interesting for the way the story sequence was edited... but it didn't have the Raimi trademark shots (*damn you Costner!*) and I think I'm gonna die when I see Spidy. As soon as it was annouced that Sam was going to be the dir I couldn't wait to see what he's going to do with the web slinger flying through the skyscrappers of NYC. :)

Yeah, Costner's last flick was directed by Sammy. I haven't seen The Gift yet... not really into ghost stories. BUUUT... ever seen the Hudsucker Proxy? It's a Coen Bros. flick that Sam helped write with them. He was also the 2nd Unit Director. It's fun to watch... and it's fun to pick out his shots.

I got to see Sam at the Comic Con in San Deigo last summer talk about the Spidey flick... I'm in love with the man now. :)
