A Couple Inquiries

Questions...oh, they just persist on and on. If everyone would simply bear with me:

1.) Research and Defense. Ships/Battle-Stations at 2,000 meters and below are self-explanatory as stated in the regulations, however I see designs that excede 2,000 meters (excluding SSDs) and yet are disincluded in research listings. How would I move about this?

2.) SSDs. First of all, has the Mk. III at SWfans been officially deemed 12.7 meters? Regardless, would there be any qualms if I were to recreate a "Kai" version with duplicated schematics yet relative technology concepts? (Same goes for the 5/10 km Battle-Stations with distinct build times within the rules).

1. Such ships would be subject to the 90-day rule.
2. There is only one swfans.net-allowed SSD. That ship and only that ship can be used to exceed the 2000m ship rule while circumventing the 90 day rule.

The second is understandable for simplicity's sake. And since the build system is relative to size, neglecting it wouldn't necessarily put us at a loss, anyway.

The ninety day rule: would that entail an additional 90-day grouping for research, or would one set of ninety days cover both research and construction?

Are you talking about battle stations in #1? If so, use the 40-day R&D rule for battle station R&D over 2 km. Use my previous advice (among others) with regards to construction yard rates.
