I have a boggle about sigs. Could someone help?

Could somebody please tell me how I can have my sig alternate between pictures when it loads. So that one time a certain picture loads, then another time a different one loads. I've seen it in several people's sigs - Lady DeVille's for example. I'm bamboozled as to the arcane knowledge involved.

The ActiveSig (tm), that is what you mean.

You have to do it with code. You need a web server to host the script, similar sized pics, and also a little bit of code knowledge, unless you get someone who has already done it to produce the script for you.

Actually Shawn, I redeploying in Perl, so it will work in both Ezbaord and SWForums.

I tried doing it in Perl. To be honest, it was a bit too complicated for my tastes.

I was doing it the hard way, apparently. What I had was about 2 and a half pages long, and there were some kinks that had to be worked out.

I've decided not to have an actual sig, and instead I'll just paste the url at the end of a post when I want to include one - I've got the text file ready to copy and paste :)

Photoshop can create the imagemap - I cant quite work out tho how. So, I just have a small proggy called ImageMap, which is simple and works quite well

Ahhhhh...... Problem is, moving sigs become heavy on the the bandwidth and also on the client side if not done right. Not easy getting them below 30K as well.
