Somewhat spoiler-ish talk

Remember when we received the word that we would definetly see podracing in AOTC? Well I was looking at this picture http://cgi.theforce.net/theforce/image.cgi?Image=books/newspics/AOTC-crosssection2.jpg and under the hood looks like 2 podracing engines Anyone agree? Disagree? Lucasfilm pulling another fast one so to speak?

The engines do resemble them but are they really pods or are they a little easter egg the special effect guys put in there.

I have to think there's something to it. That's too much of a coincidence.

maybe it will just be an "event" that anakin and padme enjoy in their travels.... For old times sake....

Good catch - yes, I definitely think they look like podracing engines Whether that's all we see of them or if there is something more, who's to say.

Technically, the coruscant chase scene would almost be considered podracing if those are infact podracing engines. That's my opinion anyway.
