Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 04:30:55 PM
Daegal boarded his Liquidator Class Cruiser, the Eagle's Wing and made his way to the flight deck. He was meeting his brother there and the two would embark on a very important mission.

As he arrived on the deck and returned the salutes of his faithful crew, Daegal extended a hand to Xavier.

"It's good to see you, Brother."

Xavier grips his brother's hand and nods. "Tis good to see you as well. Tell me something brother.. I need a few details. Exactly how big is our fleet and what is the planet like?"

He quirks an eyebrow slightly as he asks the question and pulls his hand back, letting it hang at his side.

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 04:43:15 PM
Daegal nods, glad that his brother had brought up the questions.

"Our fleet is comprised of eight ships with appropriate fighter support. Here is a readout of the ships and their names", he said as he handed Xavier a holopad.

It read:

Liquidator: Eagle's Wing
Strike II: Immolation
Paladin: Redemtion

Corellian 1: Ballinamore
Corellian 2: Impaler
Corellian 3: Genocide
Corellian 4: Bubonic
Corellian 5: Smite

After Xavier had finished reading it, Daegal handed him a second pad.

"And this is the readout on our planet, Indu San."

Indu San is the only habitable planet in the system of the same name of the Outer Rim. Its forests, plains, and mountains are separated by oceans, and the planet is a major exporter of luxurious items carved from marbled stone. The low, widely-spaced layout of the smooth stone buildings gives Indu San cities an uncluttered appearance, and the world's 1.4 billion human citizens were traditionally ruled by a Congressional Council. They received an Imperial governor under the Empire, but Governor Stant Rosswell cut favors for many Indu San business leaders and remained popular. Just prior to the Battle of Endor, Rosswell was replaced by the hard-line Governor Ekam Ouwray, who, when faced with a local revolt and a small New Republic battle fleet, evacuated all Imperial forces and fled the system. Some time after Endor, while the Indu San Council was debating whether to join the New Republic, Chief Councilor Shek Barayel was assassinated at Council Hall by Imperial supporters hoping to pin the blame on the New Republic.

As Xavier finished reading, Daegal continued.

"You will command the Immolation in case something happens to the Eagle's Wing. We must succeed, Brother. We must reclaim the homeland that was once mine and will now be ours."

Xavier Sadow

Xavier nods and slides his hand back through his hair slowly.

"I know we shall succeed, my brother.." He smiles and cracks his neck lightly. "When do we leave?"

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 04:50:28 PM
We leave now. Make your way to the Immolation and set communications to channel XT-326 Alpha. Alert me when you are there and ready to go.

Xavier Sadow
Feb 18th, 2002, 04:52:56 PM
He nods and quickly makes his way towards his ship. He enters it within and few minutes and goes to the com station and tells the man there what to set the channel on. Xavier leans down and presses a button on the panel.

"Ready.."

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 04:58:02 PM
Daegal nods to the communications officer who relays messages to all other ships to prepare to take off.

Pushing a button on his chair, Daegal told Xavier simply, "We leave now."

All eight of the ships lurched from the ground and made their way into outer space. After several minutes, a nameless ensign shouted that all hyperdrives were operational.

"Engage", Daegal ordered.

Soon, the stars turned into long white streaks as all of the ships jumped into hyperspace.

"We're coming out of hyperspace in fifteen minutes, sir."

"Thank you, Commander", Daegal responded.

A dark smile crossed the Sith Warrior's face. He knew that his family would finally be able to reclaim that which was formerly their home.

He pushed a button on his chair and began speaking with his brother.

"Fifteen minutes until we jump out of hyperspace."

Xavier Sadow

"Good.. I never did like long waits.." He smiles and releases the button, stretching slightly and cracking his back.

Feb 18th, 2002, 09:25:02 PM
"We're dropping out of hyperspace sir."

"Relay the information to the other ships, Commander", Daegal barked.

The lines of stars quickly turned to distinct dots as the ships dropped back into normal space. Suddenly, an alarm sounded.

"Commander, what's going on?" Daegal asked.

"Sir, there are two Interdictor-Class Heavy Cruisers and they have spotted us", the Commander said, his voice shaky.

"Commander, get my a readout on the statistics of those ships."

"Here it is, sir"

Daegal slammed his fist down on the communicator that was built into his chair and began barking orders.

"Xavier, take the Redemption, Genocide and Bubonic. Break to the left. We've got to split them up."

Releasing the communicator, he turned to the communications Ensign.

"Inform the Smite, Ballinamore and Impaler Gunships that they are to break hard right and stay with us."

Xavier Sadow
Feb 18th, 2002, 09:30:22 PM
Xavier growls as he hears this and looks to the communications officer on his ship.

"Inform the Redemption, Genocide and Bubonic to follow us!" He looks to the pilots. "Break left now!"

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 09:38:25 PM
"Sir, they are splitting up! Two are following the Immolation and two are following us."

"Excellent. Maintain full throttle until we have put some distance between us and the Immolation."

Daegal turned back to the Communications Ensign.

"Inform the Smite and Ballinamore that they are to break away and begin attack manuvers.

A second nameless Ensign shouts at Daegal, "Sir, they have launched fighters!"

"How many?", the Sith Warrior asked.

"One Squadron from each vessel. TIE Interceptors."

"Launch three squadrons of TIE Advanced. Use two to destroy the Interceptors and send one to flank the Smite and Ballinamore. Inform the Impaler to stay with us."

Interdictor Commander

"Status, Ensign!", Commander Todd Lebron shouted.

"Sir, they've launched three squadrons of TIE Advanced. Two to combat our Interceptors and it appears one to flank their two Corellian Gunships that are beginning attack manuvers", the Ensign responded.

"Forward deflector shields, full power. Fire Concussion Missles at the two Corellians at will", Lebron shouted.

"Yes sir."

Xavier Sadow
Feb 18th, 2002, 09:52:57 PM
Xavier growled at the communications officer.

"Relay this message in its entirety."

"Yes sir. Begin message now."

"Redemption, fire four forward quad lasers. Target their weapons systems."

Pausing, Xavier thought to himself.

"Genocide and Bubonic, begin attack manuvers. Be prepared for fighters. Target the weapons systems primarily."

Interdictor Commander

(ooc: I will title each post as 1 or 2. 1 is the attack group that Daegal is combating. Two is the group that Xavier is combating. Just to make things easier to follow.)

TWO

IC:

The lights dim momentarily as the shields begin to take more damage. The quad lasers from the Redemption rip through their target, disabling the warhead launcher and two torpedo launchers.

"Damage report!", the Commander growls from his chair.

"Sir, we've lost the warhead launcher and two torpedo launchers."

"Begin evasive manuvers. Fire forward Quad Laser Cannons."

Xavier Sadow
Feb 18th, 2002, 10:02:39 PM
Xavier growls as the Redemption is hit by the lasers. He looks to the communication officer.

"Get a damage report from the Redemption! Tell the Bubonic and the Genocide to fire torpedoes! Target weapons and shield generators!"

He looks to the second in command on the ship. "Release a squadron of Advanced on them! Destroy them!!"

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 18th, 2002, 10:09:55 PM
Two concussion missles that had been fired impacted the Corellian, Ballinamore, pummelling the shields.

"Give me an update", Daegal shouted loudly.

"The Ballinamore's shields are at 50%. Two concussion missiles impacted her starboard side", an officer reported.

"Fire all twelve twin-heavy blaster cannons. Target the fighters."

The Liquidator's twelve twin-heavy blaster cannons fire immediately. Eight shots impact fighters.

"How many fighters did we take?", Daegal asked.

"Six, sir. They are down to 18."

The two squadrons of TIE Advanced begin attack manuvers targetting the enemy fighters. A dogfight ensues, but neither side loses any fighters.

Interdictor Commander
Feb 18th, 2002, 10:52:47 PM
Mass chaos ensues as all troops are called to their respective battlestations. Amidst the commotion, the Commander attempts, in vain, to keep order. Upon being informed that he had lost 6 fighters, he slammed his fist into the arm of his command chair, grinding the flesh until it began to bleed. His look changed to that of anger as he rose to his feet and declared loudly, "We'll show those bastards!"

"Fire four starboard concussion missle tubes at the wounded Corellian", the Commander yelled.

"Firing now, sir."

Meanwhile, the dogfight between the fighters continues. Each pilot is tensed, his hands gripping the controls so strongly that his knuckles show white. Each knows that one mistake, one small mistep will mean destruction.

"Gold 4 here, there's one on me", called one of the TIE Advanced fighters.

"On my way, Gold 4."

Suddenly, the TIE Advanced spun out of control and sped out into space. It had been hit. Yet another young pilot had been claimed.

"Eagle's Claw, this is Gold 2. We've lost three fighters."

Xavier Sadow
Feb 18th, 2002, 10:56:04 PM
The communications officer looks to Xavier.

"Sir! The Eagle's Claw has lost three fighters." Xavier curses and growls loudly then looks to the communications officer, his eyes full of rage.

"Send another squadron to reinforce them. Continue the onslaught of their lead ship!"

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 21st, 2002, 08:23:41 PM
Missiles impacted the shield of the already wounded Corellian Gunship, knocking it around. Frantically, the captain of the smaller vessel attempted to assess damage and send damage control teams out to repair what he could.

"Sir, the Ballinamore's shields are down to 10%!", the Comm. Ensign yelled at Daegal.

"Tell her to back off, the enemy is already wounded pretty badly."

Missiles from the continued onslaught of the Eagle's Wing and the two remaining Corellian Gunships impacted their target, disabling its shields.

"Sir! We've taken their shields down! They're hailing us."

"Accept it", Daegal ordered.

A figure appeared onscreen in an old imperial uniform.

"Greetings, we offer our surrender."

Daegal scoffed and stood to look at the picture of the man.

"You have attacked Sith, you idiot. You will die where you stand."

Daegal then turned to his Communications officer and said, plainly.

"Fire all weapons and order our other ships to do the same."

A look of pure fear spread across the man's face on the screen. Seconds later, the ships blew up, sending metal fragments throughout the immediate space.

Xavier growls loudly and stands up from his chair quickly and looks to the communications officer.

"Tell the other ships to fire all available weapons at the target!"

He looks forward quickly and growls again..

"Fire all weapons! Crush them!!"

The young Sith slowly sits back down in the command chair and smiles as he sees the enemy ship explode is space. He presses a button on the arm of his chair and speaks in a low voice.

"Brother... what is our next move..?"

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 24th, 2002, 09:28:14 PM
Daegal smiled as he realized that his brother had destroyed the ship that he was fighting merely seconds after Daegal had destroyed his. As he heard the transmission, he pushed the button on his command chair to communicate with Xavier.

"Make your way toward the surface, the coordinates for landing are pre-programmed. And, brother, have your saber readied when you open the hatch."

Xavier Sadow

Xavier smiles as he hears the last comment and chuckles quietly, pressing the button again.

"Right.." He chuckles again and brings his finger off of the button. He looks to the communications officer and yawns slightly.

"Tell the Redemption, Genocide, and Bubonic to continue following us." He runs his hands back through his hair slowly and glances around for a moment.

"Head for the planet."

Daegal Murdoch
Feb 27th, 2002, 11:21:09 PM
As the small personal fleet of Daegal Murdoch set down upon the ground, the Sith Warrior made his way slowly down to the ground. He was flanked by his four personal guards, all of which were extremely skilled in all forms of fighting. It was not as if he needed the guards, for anything that would overwhelm Daegal would crush them all in an instant, it was a personal choice. It was quite entertaining to be able to command them to attack some lowly being who was looking at him funny.

Daegal met his brother, Xavier, who was also flanked by four guards. Daegal knew that Xavier couldn't stand the guards, but he felt it better for them to at least have more than two people, even Sith, on this strange world that could hold so many dangers.

"Brother, let us make our way to the city and alert them of our presence."

Daegal smirked as he finished the sentence, as if the people had not noticed the immense destruction that was taking place above them.

Xavier Sadow

Xavier growls quietly as he walks with the guards around him. As he reaches his brother a look of loathing for having these... people.. around him, crosses his face.

He nods and smiles a little as he hears what Daegal says and nods slightly.

"Yes.. Let's.."

Daegal Murdoch
Mar 2nd, 2002, 12:41:29 AM
With a wave of his hand and a simple muttering of "Behind us" from Daegal, the guards retreat to several feet behind the two Sith. They make their way into the city and are met at the gates by two guards.

"Halt! Who are you?", one guard asks.

"We seek entrance to your city", Daegal responded.

"Identify yourself or be terminated", the guard snarled.

Daegal turned to Xavier and said, "Brother, these people really aren't quite hospitable. Perhaps we should teach them some manners.

With that, Daegal's hand moved swiftly to his belt and his saber was unclipped. With a flick of his thumb, the blade extended and he brought it toward the guards waist, cutting him in half with a quick horizontal strike.

Allowing the blade to retreat back into the confimes of the saber hilt, Daegal nodded to Xavier, signaling him to take out the other guard.

Xavier smiles as he watches his brother for a moment. He then tosses the ends of his trenchcoat behind him, looking like he's going to go for his saber. But instead, Xavier raises his hand up, having the guard lifted into the air. He growls quietly as he watches the guard and closes his hand into a fist rather quickly, snapping the guard's neck like a twig.

The young Sith Warrior lets the dead guard fall to the ground and looks to his brother, nodding slightly.

Mar 4th, 2002, 04:36:12 PM
Replacing his saber at his side, Daegal sees Xavier dispatch the other guard and nod. The two Sith make their way into the city. The stench of death is prevalent amongst the slums of the city. As the two Sith walk, Daegal reaches out through the force, attempting to assess any immediate dangers. Seeing two prominent adversaries nearby, Daegal speaks to Xavier.

"There are two ahead, Xavier. The presence of one is much stronger than the other. They appear to be bounty hunters of some sort, though I cannot ascertain their species."

"Then we shall be ready, my brother..."

Daegal Murdoch
Mar 16th, 2002, 12:40:43 AM
The two Sith rounded a corner and nearly ran into the two bounty hunters who were obviously looking for someone. One, who was obviously more seasoned and much stronger, yelled loudly, "Watcha where you are going, you bantha -DO-NOT-SWEAR--DO-NOT-SWEAR--DO-NOT-SWEAR--DO-NOT-SWEAR-."

Daegal looked to Xavier, wondering what his brother's reaction would be.

Xavier Sadow
Mar 16th, 2002, 09:14:55 AM
Xavier's eyes harden rather quickly as he lets out a loud growl from deep within his throat. He quickly reaches over, gripping the shirt of the more seasoned bounty hunter and pulls the man quickly towards him. Their faces are now only a few inches apart.

He lets out another rather loud growl and says through clenched teeth.

"You should watch who you say those word to!."

The last part of the sentence, the words are mixed in with a growl, making him sound a little more menacing.

Daegal Murdoch
Mar 16th, 2002, 09:17:40 AM
As Xavier had grabbed the seasoned bounty hunter, the younger one quickly reached for his blaster. Daegal extended his hand toward the foolish being with his arm parallel to the ground and his palm open. A powerful force push was sent hurtling toward the idiot. He flew back several feet before slamming into a building. As he slowly slumped to the ground, blood could be seen on the wall where the man's head had hit.

"You shouldn't have done that."

The older bounty hunter's eyes widen as he sees his partner fly back without even being touched. He starts to shake slightly as his eyes go from Xavier to Daegal and back to Xavier.

"J.. Jedi?!" His voice his shakey.

Xavier grins slowly and slowly lets go of the man.

"Not quite.."

Xavier makes like he is going to leave him alone and walk away. After a moment he quickly turns back, his right hand thrusting forward, palm open. The older hunter flies back and slams into the same wall as his partner, sliding down right next to him.

The two Sith continued walking through the dark alleys of the city until they came upon a hapless beggar that approached them for credits. Daegal handed him a one hundred credit chip and said, "I have three more for you if you tell me where the government for this planet is housed."

The beggar complied, telling the two that it was housed on the far side of the city. Daegal nodded and handed him the other credit chips and the two continued walking.

"This is going to be fun..."

Daegal Murdoch
Mar 16th, 2002, 02:01:50 PM
The two came upon a dreary bar with two speeder bikes outside. The riders were a strange species that Daegal could not quite remember the name of, but it did not matter. Walking over to the bikes, Daegal's eyes narrowed as he looked at the aliens.

"Get off of your bikes", Daegal commanded.

"Come and make me", one of them replied curtly.

"I was hoping you'd say that", Daegal said with a wide grin.

Unclipping his saber from his belt in an instant, he leapt, enchanced by the force, to within two feet of the bikes. With a flick of his thumb, the saber was ignited and after a quick pivot on his left foot, the two bodies slumped off of the bikes to the ground. They were headless.

Flicking his saber off, Daegal looked to Xavier and the two got on the speeder bikes.

The speeder bikes lurched into action, their age showing tremendously. "Why couldn'y we have stolen newer ones?", Daegal thought to himself with a chuckle. Through winding streets past bustling foot traffic, the two made their way toward their destination, the house of government for the planet. It had been a long time since Daegal had been on Indu San, but the place of government had not changed. He was hoping that the planet would look at least slightly different, but it was a mirror image of what he remembered as a child.

Daegal dismounts the shoody vehicle and looks around the grounds for the run-down government. "At least one thing has changed", he thought to himself. He remembered back to the days of his childhood when the government of Indu San had been housed in a luxurious mansion complete with marble floors, gigantic rugs and mystical painting. No more was this the case. Now, the place was so run-down that one would almost think that a soft breeze could blow it to the ground.

Xavier begins to walk towards the buidling with his brother next to him. He tosses the edges of his trenchcoat back with a small smile, letting the breeze and the speed of his walk cause his trenchcoat to flap behind him every so often. He cracks his neck lightly and smiles.

Apr 16th, 2002, 09:17:01 PM
As the two Sith Warriors began walking up the steps of the building, Daegal grinned to himself. This would be a most interesting experience and, despite the look of the building, he knew that it would be a challenge. Regardless of outer appearance, the security of the building was bound to be tight. It was, after all, the seat of government for the planet. With a wave of his hand, Daegal opened the large metal doors that fortified the exterior. The doorway opened into a wide, well-lit hallway. Daegal and Xavier walked slowly down the hallway, their footfalls echoing loudly off of the cracked marble flooring.

The hallway quickly opened into a large reception area complete with security personnel. Immediately in front of the two was a desk, behind which, two human security guards in their mid-fourties sat watching monitors. To their immediate left, a younger guard was sitting in one of the waiting chairs and watching some type of sporting event on the public television that hung on the wall. Knowing immediately what his brother was planning, Xaiver stopped and moved toward the television, faking interest in the ongoing sporting event.

Daegal walked slowly up to the security desk and smiled. "I need to see the Prime Minister." He was rudely brushed off and asked if he had an appointment. Daegal's grin widened slightly as he said, "No, but you are going to let me pass anyway."

"Like hell I am", the man said. He stood and immediately reached for his blaster sidearm, obviously planning to escort Daegal off of the premises. Daegal put his hands up mockingly and began walking toward the door. As Daegal neared the door, however, he spun on his foot and executed a powerful roundhouse kick, knocking the man walking behind him to the ground. As the other guards noticed the scuffle, they reached for their blasters.

Letting out a loud cry, Daegal brought his foot down with massive force-enhanced power, connecting with the downed guard's chest. The sound of snapping ribs filled the room as the man's eyes rolled back in his head and blood began gurgling out of his mouth.

Xavier quickly reaches out, wrapping his arms around the head and neck of the younger guard that just stood up. As the guard stands up, Xavier quickly snaps his neck and lets him fall back. .

The young Sith Warrior grins broadly and spins around quickly, the bottom of his trenchcoat flying out around him as he grabs the hilt of his saber, unclipping it and igniting one end in the middle of his spin, taking the last guards head clean off. Just as fast as he ignited his saber, he disengages it and clips it to his belt again as he finishes the spin. This move was so fast that it seemed as though a flash of black light had taken the guards head off by coincidense as he spun.

Clapping filled the room as the Sith Warrior brought his massive hands together. He had to admit, he was impressed by his brother's display of combat prowesses.

"Good show, brother. But now, on to more important things."

Daegal reached down into the pocket of the guard that he had disposed of and recovered a keycard.

"Well that's handy", Daegal said as his face broke into a sinister smile.

With that, the two began walking toward the elevator at the far side of the room. Once they boarded it, Daegal placed the keycard into the slot and pushed the button for floor twenty-four, the highest floor.

"This is the floor where the Chancellor resides. Be prepared for an intense fight, brother."
