You know, you read funny things on the internet late at night LIKE EZFRELL Closing down threads on the free verson after 500 posts....

Hmm... Well, if they don't do something like that, they won't be able to stay up. It's not easy giving stuff out for free and get nothing back for it. After a while, it wears thin into your budget. Thats why TalkCity lost all of it's CCC's and CSA's and stopped hosting the RPG based rooms. Even though that 500 post thing may seem annoying, it'll keep them from having to shut down ezboard altogether sooner or later. But, if it's anything like TalkCity, ezboard just might take a fall to less popularity... And people will start moving on elsewhere. History does seem to repeat often.

But I can't help but hear the voice of Moltar off of Space Ghost when I read your posts. :p lol

It used to be 100

Yeah, it used to be 100. 500 doesn't sound so bad. But ezboard is...bad.

Marcus Telcontar
Feb 18th, 2002, 06:23:52 AM
The limit is now 500??

Hell, considering the amount of times I have seen a 500+ thread, that's quite generous.

NOW GIVE US PICTURE REQUEST BACK YOU EZFRELLL BASTAGES!!!!

*Wonders now if the $30 he spent on CSC Gold was not a waste. Whew!

They only had the restrictive limit of 100 posts per thread so people would be appreciative when they bumped it up to 500.

"From now on, the peasants may only have one slice of bread and water."

*grumbles*

(one week later)

"Ok, the peasants may now have five slices of bread and water."

"Hooray!"

(distant voice in the back)

"We want meat!"

"Silence, you!" :)

Jerry Lawer: Puppies, Puppies!

JR: Now King relax, we will see them later. Right now it looks like Austin is going to lay the Smackdown on Kurt Angle!

This fight is going to be as spicy as my BBQ sauce. But where is the NWO? What are they doing right now?

Ugh... I'm sorry, but that fake wrestling stuff is dull like DBZ... they talk crap for about 10 minutes before anything happens.

*yawn* Besides... its so pedestrian. I'd much rather watch ice hockey.

DBZ is only entertaining during the fights.

I like DBZ :P But I do hate wrestling.... Oh, what's that one thing that's illegal in the USA(to be held in the USA is illegal anyways). World Champions or something? I dunno, but they bring in all sorts of fighting styles into one ring. Once they had a kick boxer fight a sumo wrestler.. LOL That was back when it wasn't illegal to be held within the US. They stopped since it's so violent and REAL.

The one I'm talking about isn't broadcast on TV. Gotta get it on tape and rarely payperview.

I never understood the attraction with Pro Wrestling. It all seems.... lame to me.

And once again Australia is in shock. Another Gold?!

"Firstly you tell us we have skaters... now we have ski jumpers who do fancy tricks?!? What next?!?!"

Mmm Hmm... just like that one guy (what's his name? 'Six Pack', or something like that?) goes around and breaks everyone's arms. That is so utterly ridiculous.

If you don't think wrestling is real... someone dig up that clip of Chris Benoit's Reverse Tiger Suplex on Sabu...
Hell, dig up any clip with Sabu on it. That guys got a scar for every fan... and he's worldwide baby.

Charley

The blood is real, at the very least :)

Sith Ahnk
Feb 19th, 2002, 10:39:29 AM
Every single time you see blood, it is real
Achieved by scrupulous means, usually. But real
And if any of you have the, um, set to carve an inch deep gash across your forehead, post the digital picture and I'll mail you a free McDonalds french frie coupon

Charley

Yeah when they showed...I think it was Benoit...ramming that jagged little shiv into his forehead and slicing down...I was like "uh-uh man...screw that"

More I hear about wrestling, the less worth my time it's getting. I'm not entertained by what is complete and utter pointless acts of violence in the name of ratings.

By the way HaeTratori, you're thinking of the Ultimate Fighting Championship

Admiral Lebron
Feb 19th, 2002, 07:46:58 PM
UFC is pretty cool. Pro-Wrestling isn't all that good. It's coreographed. But the pain and blood is generally real. I think the best wrestling I've ever seen was in "Ready to Rumble" which is a funny movie.

If the best wrestling you've seen was in ready to rumble, I outta shoot you in the face right now
I pleade all of you get a copy of the last three ECW pay per views... they won't be too rare, look on RFVideo.com
And download ECW no matter the cost
And avoid CZW. It's basically death matches for every match... the bull**** that flies in japan, only so far they have yet to use landmines... but it's justa a matter of time
And thats my new name for you, traitor
