Ahhh, I got that screen shot. It just isnt the easiest to do anything with however - I was definantly considering it and tried except I couldn't really think of any good way to create a sig out of it.

If I get a good enough idea, I'll try again with that particular screen capture.

I just wish I was genuinely graphically talented as Ogre and Eve are. I also wish I knew more about Photoshop, which is admittedly a highly powerful, but bloody complex tool.

Although this time around, I learned about manipulation of colour curves. What I'm trying to do with each graphic is find a new function and try it out and see what it does. I spend two hours just hacking around before I really got into doing Arya's sigs.

On Helenias', I spent 4 hours trying out different things, I did three different pics before I struck the final idea and even then, it took three attempts to get it right. That was about 3 hours in itself.

There was a serious amount of work and hacking in between. I suspect if I was actually talented, the time taken would be a lot less.

No, it's definantly coming out of the server darker. I just did a back to back. It's like not much, but it's notible.

Given I do turn my LCD screen down in brightness cause too bright strains my eyes, it may be for everyone else the brightness is coming out right. But the weird thing for now, my server is definantl;ly sending out smeothing different to what's been saved locally. This has really got be puzzled, I'll have to find out why.

Edit : Oh wow. The whole lot looks soooooo different on a CRT screen instead of a LCD. Man, there is a world of difference!!! I use laptops only these days, this is the first time I have hooked up a CRT in like two months. Whoo, I had forgotten the difference in clarity.

That's as small of a sig as I can make and be halfway satisfied with, still over the limit as a 33k.
