I'll be blunt.

"The Republic of Kai," a technically neutral faction, wishes to register. The regulations have been relatively sorted, and understood. Nevertheless, a few questsions will soon follow.

As for members, the required 5 are existent, however one has yet to post. I'd be obliged if our word was taken that he will soon make his presence known:

Orion Csalestes
Quel Fenix
HaeLari Draevyen
Michael Paine
__________ (the alias he intends to use is still pending)

To the Kai members, I request that you post your presence for confirmation.

If I hear correctly, we must capture our first planet in RP format? If so, would someone enlighten me to the required post/word count?

Construction Yards. They appear imperative in the role-play, yet they are rather neglected in the rules. I need simply the basic structuring of them.

A small period of time will be all I need to design the Kai board properly.

Oh- and yes, I am real, and not a figment of Orion's imagination.

Exactly what an imagination figment would say!

To be officially recognized it would be best if your five unique members all post here (in this thread) and it would also be recommended that you link to a RP or two that you have started here. It has been noted by myself in the past that it is better to substantiate your claims of being a new group by actual RP than by the simple fact that you have the 5 members that the recognition requires.

As for construction facilities they are not an integral part of the RP that are required by any means. As far as I know there are several groups that have been around for a long time that have neither shipyards nor construction yards.

Enjoy. :)

Construction yard processing rate (IMO) would vary, depending upon how many planets you have at your disposal to ship raw resources to your dedicated construction planet. It's all a matter of raw resources to keep the con yards flowing, IMO.

CYs operate at an undefinite production rate to build fodder-fighters and such (essentially altering at general magnitude, as you said)? Would their existence be assumed also, or is there a concrete method to building the CYs, themselves?

Additionally, what would be the origin of planetary defense systems and ground forces? Shipyards, also?

At any rate, thank you both for the assist. Our planetary takeover shall commence in due time, along with our initial activity.

(And the planetary takeover necessities?)

Hmm... well, I'm here.

They build fodder-fighters, planetary shields, planetary turbolasers, droids, blasters, repulsorcraft, basically anything that can be mass-produced with little trouble, excluding extra-atmospheric craft 4m and up.

Their existence isn't simply assumed. You have to build them. I believe it takes 10-20 days.

Planetary defenses come from the con yards. There is no Swfans.net firm method for getting ground forces. You might could RP swaying the populace of the planet to your evil ways.

Sounds good. I should be able to grasp a handle on the correct proportions sooner or later.

And once again, thanks for the information.

30 days to build a CY. That's what I was told, anyway.

For some reason "Republic of Kai" makes me think about that company that makes really exotic tea, sold at coffee shops and bookstores.

Kai makes me think of Dragon Ball Z, but I'll shut up LoL. I think Kai means "King" in Japanese, not too sure.

:| Yeah, about the who Fascist thing. I noticed The Fist had described one of their elite units, The Black Guards, as "Neo-Nazis". Now, you're not going to start burning books and the whole Brownshirts bid, are you? :\

Charley
Feb 14th, 2002, 10:14:39 PM
Its a wording conflict, I guess. When he said "Neo-Nazi", I was thinking "American History X", not "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".

Khan Surak
Feb 14th, 2002, 10:19:04 PM
Well, when he said 'fascist' that kind of changed my perspective. Neo-Nazis nowadays aren't fascists.. they're just skinheads.

Yeah, I guess it's all wording.

Tea...n-no, what rubbish.
(Reverting to plan B: The Republic of Cheese.)

The Neo-Nazis are mere fanatics of a lost age: they missed the cut by six decades or so. Even then, I consider them more-so bigots than fascists. After all, they're in no position to influence others with politics when a solid 80% of the known world holds contempt for them...heck, many fascists included in that 80%. I hate to admit it, but the common fascist is either under an umbrella of military might or general approval.

At the time that was the only way i could describe the the group to let people understand how we are....however we dont go around burning stuff just cause we have nothing else better to do. Unless its the Cizerack or Kai however :)....us guys like fried Tika Kitten.

Think Return To Castle Wolfenstien and you have the Order :)

Ah, so a fascist dictatorship ruled by a sexual miscreant, wherein the most powerful of the leaders are always attempting to undermine each other in order to secure leadership for themselves?

Or did you just want to keep the cool uniforms?

Charley
Feb 15th, 2002, 10:43:26 AM
True...you have to assign two people to do the same job, so they stab each other in the back and connive to get the job done.

Ah, don't get your hopes up, Nicoli!

Assuming you do not allow yourself to crumble beforehand, I would not wish to fuel your internal fire. :rolleyes :lol

On that note, if you want your name corrected just ask an admin and they'll fix it up - easier than re-registering all over again.
