A Style Set question

Do you prefer a pattern as the background toa forum, or a picture?

In general, I'd say a pattern.

For the simple reason that it looks the same way to anyone on any screen res. If you use a picture, however, you'll inevitably get trouble because some people see it tiled, whilst some others only see a part of it - defeats the purpose of having a picture there, kinda.
