View Full Version : What happened to my Post Count?

I was top 10, and now I got 300 something...that's weak! I spent a lot of time at the old SWfans.net message board bringing that up...I posted in all the forums except RPG and Studio Scale Modeling...someone explain what's going on?

The database has gone through a few ups and down since you last posted and the posts we added to your count may have been lost in a repair.

I looked up your original post in his forum regarding your previous post count and added it to your current one, I hope that is about right and I apologize for the problems.

Looks like something similar happened to mine - I lost 100 posts this morning, it should be 808 (including this post), but it is showing 708. If someone could correct that'd be great. Thx...

Not like it's a really big deal to me or anything, but I did post on the ezboard for years(was one of the ole timers). I think I had a few thousand posts that never came with me over here. It's no real biggie though, hell I never really thought about it till I started reading some of these complainers. ;)

Yeah...I think it was upwards of 3 thousand or so(perhaps more)...not sure exactly. :)

When I updated your post total back last year I think I just grabbed the post total that was displayed under your name at the old board CMJ. Since that total didn't count anything prior to mid-2000 or thereabouts it therefore wasn't an accurate recording.

Don't know why you're complaining though - you had the highest total here until Reaper overtook you earlier this year (and now more recently JMK). :)

Mine was shortchanged a little too when the move was made. I had 2990 when we came over to this place, but I was started off at like 2600. Something like that. Granted I was at another SW collector's forum at Ezboard, but I only posted there *maybe* 50 times. Whatever though, it's not a huge deal, we're not paid by the post! ;)

I wasn't in the top 25 David...it showed me only having like 700 posts before I got updated. :)
