"Coming out of hyperspace now." Mikale was proud of his new YT-2000 Light Freighter. It had bought new by their father as a gift, as Mikale and Jamick had a birthday three days apart. Another plus was that their father had a prominent military status, and therefore was able to supply them with a modestly fast hyperdrive and a great class 1.5 hyperdrive. Also, the brothers had installed two heavy laser turrets to the top and bottom, a concussion missile launcher, and with an extra landing/docking pad on each side of the top turret. The ship still had its original, but these new ones were to be used to dock Mikale and Jamick's fighters (although Jamick had acted quickly and already bought a cloakshape fighter, Mikale was saving up for an X-wing or the like)
Mickale quickly set his new ship, the GammaBolt I, onto droid weapon control. Their mission (as they had just joined the New Republic Military) was to intercept a freighter delivering the deadly TIE Defenders, the only TIE to ever come with shields and a hyperdrive.
"Jamick, get to your fighter. We need all the firepower we can get."
