A Question About Jeseth Cloak

Well, I've never exactly mentioned his age IC, but I've been doing some thinking lately and while OOC I always wanted to assume he was no older than 32 or so, I need to take into account that SWFans timeline is way ahead of the original Star Wars timeline. Since Jes was about 16 at the time of ROTJ, then how old would he end up being now? His race lives to be about 200, so I don't mind speeding his age up a bit so his life spine is shorter board-wise.

So, I want some people here to give a general idea of what they think would be the most appropriate age to use for him. I was estimating he'd HAVE to be about 32 at the absolute least...

Well, everyone seems to have a different opinion on how long after the movies SWFans is. I'm of the opinion that it's roughly 60 years ABY.

I always go into it thinking around 10 to 15 years after ROTJ

I used to be accustomed to the 15-17 years after RotJ.

Now I consider it about 35+ after RotJ.

I like to think of it as 'wherever the heck I want it to be'. If you stay in one area, you end up with problems. Why dig yourself in? If we set it hundreds of years after, many things will have evolved. After 60, there still will be changes. Some technology wont be around. Sith, TF Droids, The Empire, Vong.... The list of things in a specific time period goes on. Why stay in one area?


Anyway, do you really need to be precise? Can't you just write how he is old or whatever? There isn't much of a need to be spot on, IMO

meh, I would say that your rp age has to deal with more of what you want it to be more than the timeline of swfans......as long as you rp it out correctly, it doesn't really matter.....

Just go with whatever age you think suits Jeseth. It's not like we're totally keeping in with the whole timeline idea anyway, unless of course you wanted to be very accurate.
