Hello all you Jedi,

The YT-2400 Freighter is one of the latest additions to the successful and famous YT series. It keeps the traditional saucer shaped hull of the YT series, like its predecessors, it is fast and tough, and like most Corellian designs endlessly modifiable. As a result, the YT-2400 was designed with Corellian preferences in mind. With thick armour plating and its bulky engines the YT-2400 can easily handle the strain of deep-space combat. The weapons are standard due to the increase of the rate of piracy. The oversized power core and modification space can be used for the addition of "hot-rodded" engines and powerful weapons which can be mounted on the hardpoint in the centre of the disk. The weapon, increased armour, reinforced bulkheads and heavier shields, leaves the YT-2400 just this side of being legal right out of the showroom. So far, only a few complaints from the Imperial Registry have been forth coming.

Attached to the rounded hull are a pair of starboard bracing arms which connect to the cockpit compartment, which is essentially a long tube. Just aft of the cockpit tube is the primary escape pod. The bracing arm's interior space is generally used for crew quarters and living space. Directly opposite of the bracing arms is another escape pod. The area of the rounded hull is devoted to cargo holds and the ship's systems. Located near the escape pod is the cargo hatch. It is not uncommon for spacers to get emotionally attached to their ships. Unfortunately this vessel is also used by the criminal elements for smuggling.

A little aditional information about the ship that I want to build.

I have got the go ahead by a friend that is involved with the Greater Jedi Order, so I will begin the production/building process at the end of this post. And, if there is any complaints please post here.
