Lucasfilm is taking part in the ebay Auction for America. One of the highlights of the auction is a Stormtrooper helmet used during the filming of ESB and ROTJ. The last time I looked it was close to $6,000. :crack

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought you were going to buy the Boba Fett mold. There is a lifesize fiberglass mold of Boba Fett - a steal at only $6,000.00. So I guess I'll only be taking two of those... :lol At least they didn't say $5999.99 - that pisses me off when they do that...

It wasn't on e-Bay, though - I'll see if I can track down the link...

..... and no, I don't have $6000 just lying around. Sorry - if I did you know I'd lend it to you EB ;) .....

I don't have $6,000 cash lying around, though. I think the most I have is about $2,300 and I owe about $700 of that in expenses. Ummm... make that about $800 I guess. Ah well, getting a few checks soon.

The problem with a $6,000 collectible is that it has absolutely no payoff. So you have to have abundant money to make it worthwhile. With $6,000, I could buy 250,000 newsletter subscribers. That many subs could make me at least $3,000 per month, and in two months I'd have the $6,000 back to spend on the collectible PLUS having a recurring source of revenue. :)

The Stormtrooper helmet is coming up on $9,000. The good news is the Maul stunt saber is still under $6,000!:smokin
