...that the new post indicators aren't really changing from read and unread. :\

points at the little bitty icon by the date and time of the individual post

Is it just me or are all of those icons colored the same in all topics?

I noticed the same thing yesterday - but I just assumed it was a 'quirk' of the style. :)

I just checked a couple other styles and noticed it was the same way in each. It may be an effect of the markread hack and how I ported it over to the showthread.php file. I will investigate.

BTW, I checked the Portal and Forums pages using Opera 5.0, and the results were ... interesting to say the very least. :)

I managed to fix the new post icon. :) It was in functions.php.
