Jedi Intervention (open)

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

(The Nebulon B frigate Tempestuous shot out of hyperspace over the blue planet of Xibaa. The banner of the Jedi was bright on the frigate's hull as it approached several different warships in orbit. Some were grey and had smooth curves, and some were a dull red, with angular formations. The ships were rudimentary and crude, with no hyperdrive and basic weapons according to sensors. In the greater sense of galactic strategy, the planet of Xibaa and its civil war were of little consequence. However, no matter how crude the weapons were, they could still kill, and were very successful in doing so, killing millions in the past generation on Xibaa. For once, both factions on the planet, the New Republic friendly Sanulla and the isolationist and aloof Jeresurat were willing to give arbitration a chance...and allowed a Jedi mediator to speak with their leaders. The council had determined that Jubei would be the voice of the Jedi in this endeavor. It was a mission of peace, and his first true endeavor as a Knight of the Order.

Jubei was roused from his meditation in his quarters by a female officer in a navy blue uniform. He had been informed earlier that she would be his liason to his New Republic escorts, and that her name was Ensign Halei)

Ensign Halei: Sir...we are approaching the planet and have opened communications.

(Jubei opened his eyes, standing and nodding.)

Good. I will be on the bridge shortly.

:: A figure sat out of view in Jubei's quarters. He wore dark clothing, which was accentuated by his frost-white hair. A look of age and hardship lined his face, and on his face and neck were deep scars. The figure said nothing, but projected a thought to Jubei through the Force ::
