Forbes Trashes The Movie Industry

Found my way to these articles via TFN. It paints a pretty bleak picture for theater chains and gives a lot of info on how the B.O. gets divied up. At the end of that first article there are links to other articles on theaters chains. Can you believe the video industry is now outgrossing the Box Office? There are going to be some major shake ups coming and some movie houses are going to have to be closed down. Too many screens and not enough people filling them.

I had heard something similar, many theater chains expanded too much during the 90's and are now paying for it.
