released on the 23rd over here, got it ordered. Still dissapointed there is no Naboo campaign, but the fact the level creator lets you edit a units name, hit points and damage, Im happy :)

I've heard good things about it, but I have better places to spend my money.

I'm I thinking about the same game as you guys? Game Informer said it bombed big time. Not as bad as Force Commander. They said if it came out 2 years ago it would be impressive. But other wise with the technology now, they could of done alot better.

This is the game that was based on AOE2 engine correct?

AOE2 Engine[x] is way too old!;

I'm sorry, but I'm waiting for the next JK!

Yeah thats the one.

Aside from some of the weapon fire and some sound stuff....the game looks incredible. Very very fun...

Dyzm, its the one that got 9 at Gamespot, 8 at IGN and is basically from the AOE series, which is classic

Yes I admit, Game Informer is more for the Upper Class Hardcore Gamer, so you simple gamers would be entertained by old technology. j/k

I'm personally waiting for Star Wars Galaxies.

What a ripoff. They could have just marketed the game as a total conversion for AoE2, and foregone the $50 in favor of $30 (default add-on pack rate). Lucasarts basically just dug up their old Force Commander prototype and stuffed it in yet ANOTHER old engine.

Could they BE more obvious? I mean, jesus christ, there is a BATTERING RAM in that game! A battering ram! Of course they renamed it something stupid, but it's still one of those old traveling huts draped with animal fur, only given a new, non-detailed texture.

I could continue ranting, but instead I'll just set out on a quest to burn the GB programmers at the stake. Battering rams...ooh, they're going to die! >D

Lor, using cutting lasers to knock down walls is reasonable. Basically, you just wanted something to whine about, and chose that. Come on, 'fess up :)
