New Hack! (TTT on edit)

I have found, via a request, a hack that will make a topic go to the top of the forum when a post within it is edited. I also tested it successfully. So just to let you all know, "edit bumps" are now possible.

To be informative about behavior, let me share something my test did reveal. An “edit bump” will not update the “Last posted by” information on the forum index, something I like to use pretty often myself to go from the index directly to the newest reply in a forum. Here is a picture of what I mean by “Last Posted by” information, the little arrow will take you directly to that most recent post:

Would there be anyway to add an arrow colored differently that takes you to the last edited post? O_o That would be a pretty neat feature.... but it sounds hard to do. :)

I already checked with the person that provided me the hack and he said it would involve a great deal of database manipulation and be a big headache to write out a hack for, so the answer is nope.
